The PA112S is a 200W self-contained powered subwoofer with a 12” bass driver in a tuned, ported cabinet and is the perfect companion for the PA100T. It features built-in crossover, level control, and dual 1⁄4” jacks for line level input and output. The compact cabinet includes a standard pole mount adapter and side handles for easy transport.

When I first saw the price of this sub I was very skeptical because there is nothing comparable in the market at this price, let me tell you that I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I own two 18" powered subs and two 18" passive subs, but I was looking for something smaller and more portable to compliment my JBL EON 210P portable powered pa system that I use for smaller family or friends gatherings, and what a huge difference, the PA112S gave my system the bottom end that it was missing and really brought it to life.I will definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for adding lows to a set up, now keep in mind that this is a 12" sub so do not, and I repeat do not expect it to perform like a 1300.00 18" sub.

i have used Kustom amps since the old tuck and roll days and have always loved their sound and quality. In fact, I still have an old kustom pa from the 60's ......intact and working. It's a company that makes stuff to last ....this is a great deal for 199!

Good unit for adding bass to a small or medium sized PA system.
I'm using these in a variety of configurations, from adding one to a pair of dual 6-1/2" Kustom cabinets and a mono 100W powered mixer, to placing one underneath each of a pair of Mackie 15" Thump powered cabs. Noticeable improvement in every configuration.
As other reviewers have observed, the integrated crossover alone does not result in the best sound; I use a Behringer FBQ1502 EQ to manage the subs, and the result is a night & day improvement.
These units do not move a lot of air; they deliver more & better bass, but not a lot of "thump". If you're looking to feel serious rumble, plan to spend more.
But at this price per watt, if properly used, these units deliver great value.

Seems to work as advertised. Adds some nice bottom end to our rehearsal room set up (two 12 inch peavy powered mains) without overpowering the relatively small space. It's simple to operate and quick to set up and break down. I haven't had it long, so I can't say how durable it will be. But is seems solidly built. Weighs about as much as a guitar amp, so dragging it around will not be much of an issue.
The only thing I find lacking is the ability to run the mains through the sub. It only has one in and one out 1/4 inch jack. I tried running a stereo signal to the input and a stereo to mono splitter from the output to the left and right mains. No dice. Only get a signal to one of the mains when I try this option. Unless I buy another one, I'll just run the subwoofer on a aux out and keep the mains running through the left and right monitor outs.

Me and a friend of mine have a small DJ business and we were initially using a Kustom KPM4080 system for mains for about 5 years, and one of the cabs recently had a voice coil to break, and at high volumes, low end wasn't going to be very possible. Found this sub, and couldn't be heappier. The quality is clear, and the windows in my house rattle! Built-in 200w amp is espeically a bonus, so there's no need to buy a seperate amp and crossover. Just ran through the AUX out on my Yamaha mixer, and it sounds incredible! Would definietly recommend to someone looking for a cheap but great sub for use in anywhere from home to even a medium sized gymnasium. Kustom is the best at making cheap products that work great!

Without control of crossover, this sub sounds unpleasant. The low end is not enough. I tried a crossover from e-Q and hooked in, set the crossover frequency below 60, it sounds great. If you want a good quality low end punch, be sure to go through a crossover control!

I bought this based on its price and the fact that I have used Kustom products in the past. I got it mainly for our bassist to be able to use it in practice. at 200 watts its perfect for practice, but not quite strong enough for a bigger venue.
If you're looking for a cheap sub for something small this is for you, if you're looking for a bigger live event worthy sub, keep looking.

I'm an elementary school PE teacher and my school bought this and 2 Kustom 10" PA speakers to go along with the Fender Passport 300 we purchased last year. I always play music for our movement activities and the Kustom powered sub has really enhanced the sound by adding great bottom end and volume!!!
I also play bass in a classic rock cover band on the weekends and I have no doubt that the Passport 300, the Kustom 10" PA speakers (along with the Passports 8" speakers) and the Kustom PA 112S powered sub would be plenty for a small club/bar.
