Super-portable and convenient PA system that will go where you go, and keep you sounding great.

The PA50 PA System from Kustom combines quality performance and convenient features, all in a highly portable package. You’ll find that the PA50 works well in a variety of environments, amplifying vocals, instruments, keyboards, drum machines, audio devices, and more.

The two 4.5" speakers and high-frequency driver provide just the right combination of high and midrange sounds. This balance ensures your vocals cut through the mix while minimizing harsh and unwanted frequencies. The PA50 Construction is based on the same tried-and-true techniques as the rest of our speaker line. This includes a heavy-duty steel grill and rigid corners. This model also utilizes a high-frequency driver for crisp, accurate reproduction of treble frequency and articulate speech.

For the soloist or acoustic duo, the PA50 works well when positioned on a standard speaker stand. As your following grows, so does your sound system; multiple units can be connected to increase the sound coverage in your venue of choice.

I own 2 of these, and have used them for over 100 gigs in the last year - (acoustic, electric guitar & vocals) - Surprising amount of Bass for such a small box, a perfect feature-set - Guitar + vocals + Ipod for breaks... They started as an emergency back-up for my Loudbox amp, but I use these more often. The lack of reverb is not an issue - I love the sound of My Taylor guitar & Nady microphone thru this amp - No EFX, it sounds REAL, my clients always compliment the sound.

Okay - So I am trying to be generous here. The first unit I recieved had a badly bent speaker frame, blown speaker and bent speaker cage. The second one they sent me made my acoustic guitar sound like a heavy metal player - extremely distorted and overdriven sound. I am an experienced musician and I am used to setting up sound equipment. I never turned the main past 12 o'clock and the channels were never pushed past 12 either. Kustom quality control sucks. On the plus side - the little pa pushes out a LOT of sound. I could see that if it was working properly it would easily support backyard cookout jams and coffee shop gigs. On the plus side - so far MF customer service has been good. I'm going to try one more and hope for the best. Next competitor (Behringer B205D) costs nearly twice as much. I guess you get what you pay for. If you buy one of these - do it in person and check it out thoroughly before. Sadly, I can't recommend.

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

I bought two of the tops and two matching Kustom subs about 18 months ago. I have now used the system for a few DJ gigs, mixing for two bands and then using the system for my acoustic/solo gig, where it really shines. I love the punch I get from the Kustom 1x12 - powered subs. This system has not failed once. I have been very pleased. I got it when I could get holiday sales prices where I saved a bundle. I purchased extended/replacement warranty on all pieces. I also purchased the mounting poles and I mount the top cabinets directly to the pole mounts on the subs. I mix thru a Mackie ProFx 12 mixer. It's just a great sounding rig and a great value.

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

As a gigging musician in different formats I was looking for a portable system that could be used in a solo, duo or trio setting. I purchased 2 of these speakers along with a Behringer XENYX 1002FX Mixer and the result is perfect. Load in and out is very easy, and the sound is great.

This is a very handy unit to have in your tool box. I use mine to practice keyboards, monitor I-Pods/Phones and computers. It will work well with just about anything and I think everyone should have at least one of these.

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

This portable PA system completely blows my mind. It has two separate instrument/mic inputs with bass, treble and volume control. Then another auxiliary input with controls as well. The entire package and design will knock you out. It just looks so cool! This PA obviously isn't designed to play large halls but is more than adequate to play a party or a small venue. Kustom rocks!

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

This gem is great and the price is right. Light weight, easy set up, crystal clear and perfect for small venues. I plug a PV6 mixer into it to handle all vocals and instruments and use it for vocals, 6 string acoustic/electric guitar, autoharp and to mic harmonicas. It has plenty of punch for small venues. I have only used it for 2 gigs so far so I really don't know how long it will last as far as the construction of the cabinet and how long the electronics will last but seems to be doing what I want it to. Real light weight for bass but what do expect for 4 ½ in. speakers. I have been using a Peavey KB2 for an amp but this unit is app. half the weight and smaller in the physical size. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is the fact that I have only used it twice so don't know exactly how long it will last.

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

I bought one of these for my small jazz trio. I play trumpet and use a bell mic which requires Phantom Power. This unit has it built in so I don't need to use a converter device. This rig works so well I bought another one so I could have four mic inputs. VERY happy with the power and performance of these little gems, and setup is a breeze. No external speakers to have to deal with. Our group loves these little speaker/amps.

This little guy does it all. I just bought my second one. My church folks use one of them for a keyboard amp in a small meeting room. But I also play solo with it and use it to amp my iPod around the house. Works with my acoustic and my electric equally well. OK, it isn't a Marshall stack or an Acoustasonic but it just plain works well for small venues. I hope they keep building these forever. I plan to always have one around!

I bought this instead of buying a 50W amp for my electric guitar. I liked the versatility of several inputs, for mic or instrument cable. I'm using this at my desk in my office for my computer and it's set up and ready for my guitar when I want to work on a new song. As a youth pastor, it's portable and I'll be able to us it for hooking up sound for computer, dvd or game systems during all nighters and other youth events. I haven't tried to max out the sound but it's plenty loud for what I've used it for so far.
