Super-portable and convenient PA system that will go where you go, and keep you sounding great.

The PA50 PA System from Kustom combines quality performance and convenient features, all in a highly portable package. You’ll find that the PA50 works well in a variety of environments, amplifying vocals, instruments, keyboards, drum machines, audio devices, and more.

The two 4.5" speakers and high-frequency driver provide just the right combination of high and midrange sounds. This balance ensures your vocals cut through the mix while minimizing harsh and unwanted frequencies. The PA50 Construction is based on the same tried-and-true techniques as the rest of our speaker line. This includes a heavy-duty steel grill and rigid corners. This model also utilizes a high-frequency driver for crisp, accurate reproduction of treble frequency and articulate speech.

For the soloist or acoustic duo, the PA50 works well when positioned on a standard speaker stand. As your following grows, so does your sound system; multiple units can be connected to increase the sound coverage in your venue of choice.

I own 2 of these, and have used them for over 100 gigs in the last year - (acoustic, electric guitar & vocals) - Surprising amount of Bass for such a small box, a perfect feature-set - Guitar + vocals + Ipod for breaks... They started as an emergency back-up for my Loudbox amp, but I use these more often. The lack of reverb is not an issue - I love the sound of My Taylor guitar & Nady microphone thru this amp - No EFX, it sounds REAL, my clients always compliment the sound.

Okay - So I am trying to be generous here. The first unit I recieved had a badly bent speaker frame, blown speaker and bent speaker cage. The second one they sent me made my acoustic guitar sound like a heavy metal player - extremely distorted and overdriven sound. I am an experienced musician and I am used to setting up sound equipment. I never turned the main past 12 o'clock and the channels were never pushed past 12 either. Kustom quality control sucks. On the plus side - the little pa pushes out a LOT of sound. I could see that if it was working properly it would easily support backyard cookout jams and coffee shop gigs. On the plus side - so far MF customer service has been good. I'm going to try one more and hope for the best. Next competitor (Behringer B205D) costs nearly twice as much. I guess you get what you pay for. If you buy one of these - do it in person and check it out thoroughly before. Sadly, I can't recommend.

So cute.... how do they sound so good? Put these with a Digitech Live 3 and stands and they fit the bill perfectly. Very clean amp, surprisingly good sound levels and quality. Solid build & Well thought out design/features ~ just a great speaker that is perfect for so many situations. Thanks Kustom!

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

Bought my first as a solo musician, added a 2nd as the band started to form, and I'm about to add a 3rd.

My ROCK BAND uses ZERO amps. Instruments are plugged right into the mixer (pedals for the electric guitars). The mixer is EQed to "flat" and we let the instruments provide the tone/EQ.

I've had "old-timers" stick their noses up at our rig. Some people believe that you have to have specific instrument amps and tubes and what-not. I've found that the instrument amps are 1) another heavy thing to carry, 2) adjust the tone of the instrument, 3) more complicated to mic to get consistent sounds in the PA/monitors.

Plugging right in and playing out to a "full frequency" PA makes everything easier--and you get the actual tone of the instrument. Why amp everything?

These PA50s are GREAT for reproducing our instrument's sound--and we play ROCK with a LOUD skin-pounding drummer. Everything is clear and glorious.

As we've grown to 5 members, I'm adding a 3rd PA50 just to even out the monitor's sound--but we could get by with 2. They are that loud, and that clear.

My only issue is that they aren't meant to be monitors. They accurately monitor, but don't angle up like a monitor so the sound is directed towards our legs.

      Other than that--FANTASTIC!

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

As soon as I opened the box I was impressed. The speaker seems quite solidly built, I have used only a couple times but the volume is ample. I immediately ordered another one. I will be using this in a variety of situations - sometimes as a powered speaker, sometimes a self-contained PA (with mic and guitar) Sub-out is great, because you always worry about blowing little speakers up with too much bass. the only thing I would change is add a 1/4 jack to the 3rd channel - right now it has 1/8 stereo input for audio in.

Very handy piece of gear. Perfect for practice, parties or tiny venues. Also great for a personal monitor. As you would expect, the small speakers don't produce much bottom end. The bottom gets better when its placed on the on the floor rather than a stand. The power, price and portability are amazing!

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

I ordered two of these bad boys from MF on a Sunday and they came 3 days later.

I use them mainly to hear music when I am beating on my drums.

They have Phono plugs as inputs so you will have to deal and adapt to that, which of course is rather easy.

I have used them as a sort of PA when I go to the local music stores for jams, they are more than adequate for basic drum miking.

I also take them to friends houses when they have parties.

I take a small portable DVD/CD player with me and run the RCA plugs into a phono adapter and my friend are stunned when the hear the results.

Great value for the cash, pick up a set of stands when you can afford to and you will be good to go.

Plenty vids on You Tube showing what they look and sound like.

I bought this for my home studio, I researched this a lot before buying and yet never noticed that there was no reverb on this,(my fault) It also picked up that my cell phone went off and it causes interference with the sound, weird..What I really like was that M.F. get's it shipped fast and easy.I guess I better look for a small reverb unit.

Comments about Kustom PA50 Personal PA System:

I bought two for my solo gigs during the summer. They were put to the test for an outdoor festival that had the artist do busking-style performances. I have a nice acoustic amp that has my guitar and vocal inputs with the type of reverb that I like. I connected the post eq output to the PA on a stand and synced it with the other.
Well, It was perfect. Great sound, quality volume output and super portable.
Seemed that one was good enough so I let another musician borrow the other to save his time loading in a PA. For what we were doing it was fine. But later I synced them both up and was told that together they sounded like a big PA system.
My back is going to thank my this summer. We'll see how the hold up.

For the money, this is one of the most useful tools in my box. This thing is loud enough to be used as the sole source of amplification for my Roland Keyboard, cutting thru the mix of several guitars, bass, drums and voices. I would not, however, use it in this way as a rule. I own some very good equipment - on a larger scale, but this little guy is the most handy!
