Comments about M-Audio M-Track Quad 4 Channel Audio Plus USB MIDI Interface:
A vey versatile high quality interface that covers lots of applications. For the price, there really isn't any competition other than the AKAI EIE Pro and they are probably built at the same plant. I'm running into GarageBand, so did not load the included Pro Tools Express, but comments about loading about complexity to install are now taken care of on a YouTube video step by step. Everything feels higher quality than anything else I played with in this price range. Has just the right features for DJ, live performance and home studio recording. No latency that I have experienced so far. I have not used the USB hub yet, but it sure is nice to know that it is there. I'm running off of a mid 2009 MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard and having a separate P/S allows me to run the laptop off of battery.
