Both Musician's Friend and the warranty company dropped the ball. Not worth the frustrating calls and useless emails. Take my advice they have no intention of honoring your claim and whether intentional or not, will do or say whatever it takes to walk away from their commitment.
If you bought this package, save your receipts. You will need proof it came as a package. If you lose it, they will try to say it was not a bundled item so the warranty does not apply. Burden of proof is up to you. Also, no matter what you are told, get a shipping label and a claim filed for every piece of equipment you send back. If only one piece is broken, only send that piece. You do not have to send all the pieces if only one is broken. Instructions are lacking, if they allude to returning all pieces in the package, don't do it!!! They will deny there were any items other than the one claim item in the box and when you mention the weight on your receipt, they will blame discrepancy on the company they contract with. Mysteriously some of the equipment you ship will disappear or when they tell you they found it, they will say it arrived with physical damage and they were just going to throw it away. No joke.
I was told to send back all pieces except the cables and stand, in one box even though the midi controller was the only thing that stopped working. The contractor never bothered to report they received more than one item. Who does that?
Please don't make the same mistake. Better yet, go spend your six hundred plus on that musical Christmas gift somewhere local, a place that will treat you better because they care whether you come back and spend more money.
