Gotta be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I bought this set over many of the ebay offers because I expected to have a nicely recorded, consistant sounding set of loops. What I got were a small variety of loops in 11 specific styles with each being recorded slightly differently. This prevents you from sharing loops from each of the 11 because the recording/kits sound completely different. Too top it off, there is a small collection of fills. What good are they if they don't work with the 11 styles, again, because the kits/recordings sound different. The selection of styles isn't very generic either. For example, Brush, Ringo, SRV, Sambesque, The Band.Essentially, you'd be able to write maybe a couple of songs with this set at which point the loops would be recognizable across different songs. Also, the disc contains formats for Acid, Aiff and Rex. That's great, but disk space is then divided in three for the exact same content. There are a lot of single hit samples, which would be great for sampling or building your own patterns.Overall, not really worth getting if you want a set of generic useful loops.
