Comments about Mackie ProDX8 8-Channel Wireless Digital Mixer:

I was excited to trying it. Unfortunately the static noise level is too high, and from time to time some loud continuous popping noise comes around making this fun machine not usable. I don't know if I got a lemon or it's common to this model.

Comments about Mackie ProDX8 8-Channel Wireless Digital Mixer:

I bought this to use with my duo. We have 2 mics, keys, guitar, and tracks. It fits right on my keyboard and the tracks play from my ipad to the mixer via bluetooth. I did a little EQ and compression on the channels from the control app but haven't opened the app in weeks after it was set up, just used the controls on the front. I love still having 2 channels free if needed.

There is plenty of gain for mics and acoustic guitars

I will also use this for extra channels if needed for my X-Air 18.

Comments about Mackie ProDX8 8-Channel Wireless Digital Mixer:

I use this at home for recording and for small acoustic act. Great concept. I was really disappointed to find out there is no phantom power. I sing thru a ccondenser mic and can't use it now with this mixer. Also the 7Th and 8th channel aren't usable. Only for an iPod. Other than that, I am pleased with the software and unit

Comments about Mackie ProDX8 8-Channel Wireless Digital Mixer:

I've been using a QSC Touchmix 16 for performances - and using an Allen & Heath ZED 10 FX for small gigs. My wife often runs sound- and she has gotten do used to the iPad interface... when I (we) saw this we jumped all over it! Have used it a few times, now, works great. 'My' assessment is that set-up, sound quality & phisical quality are top-notch! 'My wifes' assessment is that it sounds great (to the audience)... and the interface screen is even easier to understand & control than the Touchmix. While there is NO gain for channels and some functions are difficult to get to, without using interface, it is definitely a winner in my (our) book!!

Comments about Mackie ProDX8 8-Channel Wireless Digital Mixer:

I purchased this mixer to use on stage as a personal IEM mixer to combine FOH return, bass guitar amp direct, and stage ambience microphone. The bluetooth connectivity makes this mixer an excellent choice when also used with a tablet and microphone stand tablet mount.

Comments about Mackie ProDX8 8-Channel Wireless Digital Mixer:

I love this product. The fact that I can have the actual mixer by the speaker and have an iPad on my piano or on a music stand really breaks through the restriction of having to be close to your mixer. It also removes the need for long cords across the room. The only downside is the fact that it only has 6 mic/line channels. The 7/8 channel is for a 1/8 inch cord (for a headphone jack). Great for my home studio, but not ideal for big events.
