OVERVIEW

Incredibly natural sound reproduction with intense output.

If you need honest-to-goodness pinpoint accuracy and blistering output, the Super Active Series enclosures fit that description well. They improve upon past Mackie award-winning active designs with maximized power, recalibrated active electronics, high-definition neodymium drivers, and extensive acoustic design and tuning by the world-renowned Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) engineering team.

The SA1530z boasts a 15" long-throw woofer, a 6" mid speaker, and 1-3/4" tweeter backed up by a robust 1300W of power. Tri-amplification delivers 1,100W to the lows, 100W to the mids, and 100W to the highs. The WaveFront horn maximizes the mid- and high-frequency drivers for ultrawide sound dispersion. Onboard active crossover, time correction, phase alignment, and thermal system protection all work seamlessly to reproduce the signal with the utmost fidelity. System yields a frequency response of 38Hz-20kHz.

I own a pair of these that are incredible. However, they are pre semd everything to china. The American made are awesome and have been flawless. The globalist sell off of America version is the one with ALL the Problems.

Pure HIgh Definition

Since getting a pair of these we have used them for Live sound in a medium sized club as well as for DJ'ing a wedding dance. We ran them Full range on top of Mackies SW1801 subwoofers. The Pure Blend of Sonic Bliss that is reproduced could not be more accurate. Stand alone they are Awesome, Punchy bass and a smooth transition b/w all three crossover ranges, and it only gets better the louder you go. Add the Subs for an amazing 4 way system that sounds like one wave of sound!!

Sound Great

The only thing I have to complain about is if you use these on the floor your audience notice's the horn over the mids/lows.. very tinny sounding.. the problem is that these are way too big to put these on stands, unless you have something made or have multiple subs or bar tables... but other than that, I can live with that, these are great great speakers..

I have returned four of these due to faulty protection switches. This seems to be a nationwide issue, Check Mackie forums before buying this item.
