Poor microphone quality. Reception was very good between transmitter and receiver. Microphone was novelty store quality.
I was excited to find this unit. I ordered 4 when they arrived the first one out of the box produced no sound. the second works great the third is so distorted that it is unrecognizable. The fourth works great. So as of now I am 50/50 & don't have enough for the first show.
A wireless system, like a lot of things, is something you can't slack off on very much. In other words, it's worth its weight in gold. This product produces a pretty bad sound. I would compare it to cell phones in the 80's. You know, the big black ones that sound like the other person is in a barrel. In my opinion, put the extra money in and get a better unit.
Out of the box, I couldn't get the squelch control to work properly. Tried one more time before returning & it's been working fine ever since.
This mic cuts out, all the time. I found the quality of the mic to be pretty good. Spend the extra money on a better model. I had to.
I DJ wedding dances & parties, and offer karaoke as a sideline. These microphones are perfect when you want to provide decent wireless sound, but don?t want to put your expensive equipment in the hands of a drunk! I own three. I?ve used the first two for two years and the third for one year without a single problem. Hint: Put large foam filters on them. You can wash them after each gig, and they protect the mics when dropped!
