With three handheld microphones and a headset, this wireless kit makes full use of the four independent VHF channel's on Nady's 401x Quad. The receiver is a convenient, rugged, all-metal housing taking only a single rack space. 120db dynamic range results in excellent audio quality with up to 250 feet of coverage with optimal line-of-sight.

Our Church has owned a Nady 401X Quad consisting of 2 body packs and 2 hand helds for over 5 years now. We have never had any complaints over this set. We have had to replace the mic elements on the body packs, but this was due to normal use and wear. We have been so impressed with this set that we have purchased a second set with 4 body packs.

My minister of music purchased this for our Christmas Cantata even after I told him it was a waste of money. The belt packs are thin plastic with a cheap, flimsy elements. As I predicted, one channel receives heavy RF interferance and another is broken. You get what you pay for. Save your money for a quality piece of equipment that is frequency agile (i.e. you can change your frequencies).

We bought two of the 401X Quad systems for our church. We didn't expect a whole lot for the price, but we didn't expect the problems we have had. We have owned the first system (4 handheld mics) for almost three years now (now is 2008). We are down to 2 that work...sometimes. We did not have problems in the first year (which is the length of the warranty :-( ) of owning the first system, so we ordered one with 4 wireless headsets. One of the 4 headsets (bodypack and microphone) didn't work from the day it arrived. We sent it back for repair under warranty and it still didn't work. We are down to one bodypack and microphone that works without problems. Talking with Nady didn't help either. Save up some money and buy something that will last a little longer. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless you plan to throw it out in one year or less.
