Comments about Nady 401X Quad LT Wireless Lavalier Microphone System:
We got this system as a cheep wireless set-up. And after using sure for about 5 years this is disapointing. But that is needless to say. After buying this we only use one for our pastor to use. His voice is verry deep and the mic is a little pitchy. WOULD NOT BUY IT AGAINBUY A SURE, AND BE SURE!
Comments about Nady 401X Quad LT Wireless Lavalier Microphone System:
Pick-up is horrible. Must turn down mid-range completed so no feedback. One lapel fried. Cheaply made, i.e. mic clips broke fisrt month, bought after markets to hold. Sits in box last year or so. JUNK!JUNK!
Comments about Nady 401X Quad LT Wireless Lavalier Microphone System:
Bought this system as scratch-n-dent thinking I was getting a great deal and, if the product had worked properly, I would have been. The mics have an average to poor pickup pattern and wireless packs are very poorly constructed. To get a good enough balance to even get the product to work 80% of the time, requires tweaking signal power on the wireless packs (phillips head screwdriver design with super cheap plastic that distorts it's shape with almost no torque) AND a squelch/mute adjustment (same phillips head screwdriver but better plastic) on the BACK of a rack-mount wireless system. I bought these to supplement our two Shure wireless mics at our church and after 3 weeks of service use and constant tweaking, it was utterly unreliable. It had a very low output signal to the point of which with all gains at 100% and faders at +10, the audio was still hardly audible with the mic at approx. 6-8" from the mouth of even our most vocal user. I do not believe I will ever purchase another Nady microphone product after this purchase.
Comments about Nady 401X Quad LT Wireless Lavalier Microphone System:
Purchased for a school musical. Problems from the start...weak signals, if boosted feedback. The night of the program one of the transmitters fried. Price was good, but you get what you pay for. I stepped up to the audio technica. Much much better.

I used the Nady 401X Quad LT Wireless Lavaliere Microphone System to help mic actors in a school musical. The mic packs feel like they will eventually break when opening them to replace the batteries during regular use. The gain 'screw' on the mic pack is very difficult to set at a usable level without getting feedback. I also had massive feedback problems when using an xlr connector. It was better with a 1/4" plug, but it would be nice to use an xlr. Keep in mind that I had no problems with the other 2 brands of wireless mics I was using (one was an expensive brand, the other was a budget brand). Keep in mind that I am the first guy in line to purchase an inexpensive product, so long as it is usable. I've used both high end and low end wireless mic systems and I would have to say stay clear of this one. There are other units in the same price range that will do a better job. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. One of the channels was completely unusable - the moment I turned it on, I got massive interference. This cold have been due to the space we were in, rather than the mic system, though.
Comments about Nady 401X Quad LT Wireless Lavalier Microphone System:
I purchased these for the local schools auditorium. I wasn't expecting much, but i was still disappointed. After one day, already one of the transmitters shorted out, without hardly any use! These mics fuzz, and are essentially useless if you want to mic anything that moves. Compressors won't tame their feedback, and they have poor range. I don't suggest buying these mics, even if your trying to just build numbers(Like I was).
Comments about Nady 401X Quad LT Wireless Lavalier Microphone System:
We bought two of these systems to run 8 wireless lavalier mics at once. The system works great for the price, but we are having trouble with the mics shorting out. The wire that connects the mic to the body pack is way too fragile. We're not abusing them, but we've lost three in two weeks. Good deal if you don't mind replacing the mics all the time.
