I am a worship leader who plays guitar through a POD XT-Live connected to a house mixer. The POD allows for stereo output, so several years ago I started looking for a compact stereo DI that would fit in the case that I carry my POD in. After comparing several models based on price and features, I decided to give the Nady ADI-2 a shot. I tend to look at Nady as a low-end alternative, so I was somewhat prepared to be disappointed. I can honestly say that I could not have been more surprised! The sound quality for live applications is excellent. The active electronics ensure that there is no loss of signal or frequency. (In my case, I am running exclusively off phantom power.)
I have been a very satisfied owner for well over five years now, without a single issue. While my general view of Nady products hasn't changed significantly, I will say that this is one gem from their product line that I would highly recommend.

Lugging a double bass, Celtic harp, guitar, and bodhran to gigs is enough work as it is - why would I want to keep up with even more accessories, cables, and other equipment? The Nady ADI-2 allows me to effectively have two active DI boxes in one sturdy unit. I have used it with phantom power and with the battery for 5 gigs now and have had no problems at all. It does what it is supposed to do for a good price.
