I don't know much about these things but I know Nady is not popular for producing for wireless systems but this one is good.My dad who has been in the music industry for 30+ years was even surprised at how well this system was.It looks cheap but it can handle it.It handled a clear, no interference signal for a good 80 - 100 yds. Now the cable it comes with, the 1/4" to mini cable, it is really cheap and if you move alot it tends to cut out, so you would have to get a better quality one.But other than the cable and the clip this thing is definitely worth the money.
Nothing special, it has a leveler on the transmitter and a volume knob on the receiver, which is good in some ways.It makes my Plexi 1959SLP sound more like a 1978 JMP.
The transmitter is plastic and the clip is terrible, it slides and doesn't clip onto anything. You need to duct tape it to your strap, put it in your pocket, or get a holder for it.
Definitely underpriced.

Comments about Nady DKW-3 GT Guitar Wireless System:
Simple to operate, very quiet. It has a buzzy sound, especially on low strings. Fine for electric guitars, I'd spend more to make your acoustic wireless. But for the price I can't complain.

Comments about Nady DKW-3 GT Guitar Wireless System:
Bought it for my UBass, found out the plastic strings and this unit don't get along, nothing for the bass but works on everything else I have. Have been trying to get ahold of Kala but that has been an exercise in futility.

Comments about Nady DKW-3 GT Guitar Wireless System:
After reading the reviews, I was a bit hesitate to buy this unit. As a novice, I decided that for home practice and the price, I would give it a try.
This unit has worked great for me. It seems sturdier that some suggested in their reviews and the sound is very clear. My wife nor I can tell a sound difference between being wireless or not.
I like the ability to roam the house as I practice. I am glad I bought this system.

Comments about Nady DKW-3 GT Guitar Wireless System:
I used Nady Wireless systems years ago. 101 and 201 for years with no trouble. I decided to get a new wireless assuming technology has improved even more. I have only used Nady in the past and was quite satisfied with the brand until now. I bought the DKW-3 GT figuring it would be good enough to play at small shows but it isnt even good enough for home use. The volume cuts in half and my tone is gone. I wasnt expecting top of the line for this low price but I was also expecting it to work correctly. This one is going back and Nady is now on my do not buy list. I would not recommend this unit.

Comments about Nady DKW-3 GT Guitar Wireless System:
Bought three of them and all three were useless . No volume, loads of crackle and static.
Comments about Nady DKW-3 GT Guitar Wireless System:
I would not recommend this system to a gigging proffesional, as it would most likely crap out after a short time. But for the home hobbyist type of musician, it should hold up for awhile, and it does suit my needs at the present time.
Well it does work OK, But is rather cheaply construsted. It eats 9v batteries very quickly, so I suggest purchasing rechargable 9v batteries and a charging station to keep the your battery costs down. Also the cord that attaches from the tranciever to the instrument produces quite a bit of static and popping while moving around when playing, Also note the belt clip is weak and does not stay attached to my belt very well. Duct tape does help with this problem.
Well it was the cheapest wireless system available. So I guess you get what you pay for.
Comments about Nady DKW-3 GT Guitar Wireless System:
If you want to try wireless, give it a shot. I think that units priced around $100 like the Audio Technica DR1500 or even other Nady wireless units work that much better for the money. I am instantly converted to the 2.4Ghz digital wireless of the R30 after having tried this low end unit. If you want to try wireless in your garage band or jam group, what the heck give it a shot. If you perform or are concerned about tone, don't waste your time or money here.
I wanted to save money and I did buyinh the DKW-3 GT. I also got the level of performance that rock bottom priced gear provides. I walked around the house and things seemed ok. Then I went back to the practice room and I was getting drop-outs 4 feet from the receiver almost immediately. I put fresh Duracell batterries in, thinking maybe I had a bad battery. I tried to use this wireless unit for 3 days and after about 40 drop outs from close proximity to the base I gave up. I returned it and spent the cash for a Line 6 Relay G30. Wow what a difference. I didn't realize how much tone I was sacrificing with this unit until I heard the G30 tones so true and fat.
Made inexpensively, feels inexpensive, worked inexpensive.
Depends what you are looking for. You get what you pay for, and in this case not much.
