the nady system is a great working system and i have not had any problems with it. it always seems to have a strong signal and the battery life is pretty good.except when you forget to turn the transmitter off which i have done. i strongly suggest it for beginners or for anyone that wants to be freed from cords. i constantly play my guitar with the wireless and it has worked perfectly every time.
This wireless system is pretty cheap. It worked twice before it gave out on me. I've tried to trouble shoot the problem for hours but all I can figure out is that the cord from the guitar to the transmitter is just too cheap and gave out. The signal seemed pretty weak when it was actually working and there was a lot of interference. I'm definitely going to actually put the money into a REAL wireless system next time. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
This wireless system has worked great for me through out all of the months that I've had it. It does not cut out on me unless the battery gets very low. the battery life is pretty good. If you're playing a 3 hour gig or something, you should bring a back up battery. I've also noticed that the part of the power cord that plugs into the receiver has a small metal part that occasionally comes out. just be careful about that and the nady wireless system is great.
I bought this and it worked once. After that it never worked again. I have been playing for 20 years so I'm not new to this. This is faulty equipment. I opened it up to see if I could find a problem and The screws inside were rusted and there were smudge marks on the circuit board. I think they repackaged a used unit. Do not buy this no matter how inexpensive it is.
i bought this as a bundle package with the mic system and i play for about 3-5 hours each day and i love it cause i'm not caught up by a cable and for the price it works great for me. it does have some trouble with power but when i set it up with the ac adapter that came with the mic it worked a lot better. so if you buy this i suggest to get a bigger adapter for it to work right.
I have found the Nady DKW-8U to be otherwise satisfactory for bass guitar; the transmitter is reasonably robust and handles the instrument's full frequency range reliably (provided the AF gain is low enough to prevent overmodulation by the instrument), and transmitter power consumption is in line with industry average. The RECEIVER is this package's weakest link--mine fell off the amplifier at a rehearsal two months ago and, when it hit the floor, the antenna failed at the attach point, rendering the system useless. Unfortunately, Nady Systems does NOT offer stock-replacement antennae for DKW-series products. I therefore have to recommend AKG, Shure, or AT Digital Reference over Nady when roadworthiness is a factor.
I as well got this as a package deal, with the Nady Wireless System. The mic I couldnt be more happy with. It never cuts out, it gets minimal feedback, and it sounds great. I use it for metal, which is screaming, so you know it works ;DAs far as the wireless instruement system, Ive tried on my guitar once, and it sucked. It cut out, it had feedback, and even an echo. I tried it on my keyboard and worked fine...untill the battery ran out. This thing runs through batterys like nothing. I was not impressed. The overall look of it is just cheep, and unrealible. Do not waste ur money, unless you get the package deal(the mic system is free*).
I bought this to use at a Praise & Worship Service, and anytime that we tried to play a fast song, the signal would cut in and out. I am not sure if I want to return it or not.
