The Nady MM-141 is so clear, as in no noise. I have other larger mixers but this one is the one I use it mostly for recording directly into my computer but I've used it in live sets with the same outstanding results. I had no idea when I bought it right here that even without balanced in/out connection capabilities it would be such a great tool. People have knocked it off the table at live venues and even bent the control knobs without damaging it's ability at all. I bend them back in place and keep on pushin'. I'm really pleased with this small, handy and very portable unit. I've run it for countless hours without even having to replace the standard nine volt battery. You won't regret buying at least one. I know this might seem like I must indeed work for Nady but I don't. I've had mine for over six years without a single issue or problem. Yes, I love it.

So I was trying to solve a problem and came up with trying a mini mixer in my pedal board. I was looking for something small, with very few features so as to not color my guitar tone. I have several pedals that use split signal outs (not stereo), a dry and effected signal and wanted to be able to blend both, without the need for carrying two amps everywhere. My solution, put all signal outputs from my effects (this was used with a B9 and a new MEL9) and run all four outputs into the mini mixer and run a single out to my amp. I have to say the solution worked really well and I had excellent control of each output level, and the signal feed into the amp was clear with no noise, signal pops or drop out. The fact that it just has levels was perfect for this application as the higher end version with effects wasn't necessary as I have other effects that are better suited for processing the mixer output. Ok, here's the good, the price can't be beat, the size fits in a pedal board without taking too much room and with top mounted controls allows for easy access to volume control for each effect output. I didn't notice and significant tonal changes in the effect outputs and so it seems to have fairly transparent signal pass thru. Here's the bad, I'm not sure how durable this mixer will be as it seemed to have loose solder weld rolling around in the bottom of the mixer when it came out of the box, but the unit worked. Secondly, the battery compartment is a disaster, the battery easily pops in, but to get it out you need a screwdriver to pry the battery out and that can bend the power pins, which means you have to fix it each time you put in a new battery. You also don't know the power drain on the battery so it could fail during a show. I would have been willing to pay a little more if it came with an adaptor as it does have an power pin input. The barrel for the power pin input is standard, but a less common power pin sizes so if you use a power brick, you will need wires.

Doesn't work.

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

I just received my SECOND MM-141 in the mail today. The first had a problem where it would only produce output when the master knob was turned past nine and the channel volumes were all the way at ten. It also would only produce output to the left side. I unboxed the second one today to find that it had the exact same problem. I've tried many different types of inputs and outputs to try and remedy the problem but it's definitely the mixer that's messed up. I gave it a five star for features however because if it worked, it would be fantastic!

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

I bought this little mini mixer to allow more than one mic to be used with my battery powered Roland Mobile BA PA at outdoor jams. Was impressed that the sound quality was not altered at all. Metal construction and solidly built.
This would be excellent for mixing drum mics down to a single PA channel.

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

I bought this mixer to play my bass guitar along with songs on my mp3 player using headphones. I wanted battery power to be ultra portable. Great for packing in guitar case when traveling. I have not experienced any problems with the mixer. It is rugged and a good value.

Horrible

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

I bought this mixer just to use the mixer outlets as I just ordered an entire home studio. Besides it being a lot smaller than I thought, it did not come with a battery or 9V adapter so I had to go get a battery. Also, it did not come with the needed components so I ended up having to spend an additional 50.00 to order a computer interface so I could record. It is not here yet as I just got the order today. The saying is true, you really do get what you pay for. Not worth the time at all

Comments about Nady MM-141 4-Channel Mini Mixer:

I ordered this, but I must have received the new design. It looks similar but it has the on/off switch integrated into the master volume, has a much better battery tray, and it is also silver instead of white. I must say this mixer is very impressive. It is absolutely silent, works very smoothly, also delivers a little boost to the signal. Highly recommended.
