The Nady MPM 8175X 8-channel powered mixer has mono mic/line inputs on each channel and combo XLR-1/4" TRS jacks. Each channel of the MPM 8175X mixer offers level and individual digital delay controls plus 2-band EQ. Master section includes CD/tape level, master level, and digital delay level with delay time select controls, digital delay select switch, and L/R tape in and tape record out RCA jacks. Built-in digital delay offers a choice of 4 great overall sound-enhancing delays ranging from a small room to a spacious hall. The Nady MPM-8175X amplifier delivers 175W @ 4 ohms total into 2 parallel speaker output 1/4" jacks. A main out/amp in 1/4" TRS jack unbalanced insert point on the rear panel allows output to be sent to an external processor or an additional powered amplifier. The Nady MPM-8175X Powered Mixer has a rugged case with handles for roadworthy portability.

Bought this as a part of a package deal from MF. In the first practice we experienced exactly the same issue as previous poster described, mic would be cut of in the middle of the song. Turn off, turn on - comes back to life for about 2-3 minutes, then cuts the mic again. Sent the unit back to MF.Got replacement from MF, new unit started to blow off fuses on the second practice. Contacted NADY to obtain a warranty service. Sent them bad unit, got replacement instead.Tried new unit and was very disappointed, same problem again, mic cuts off after 2-3 minutes of use.Save yourself a headache, buy a better reliable mixer that is NOT made by NADY.

I am just packing up my second Nady 8175X Powered Mixer for return. Both units seemed to work but then failed within a few days of receiving them. We would be right in the middle of a song and the unit would cut out. After adjusting the individual or main level, the mixer would seem to be working again. Not real professional during performances and or recording. (This happened w/ both mixers.) The 175 watts advertised seems very weak and the effects leave a lot to be desired. Save your hard earned cash for a different name brand mixer and you'll hopefully save yourself a headache. Kudos to the people at Musicians Friend. They were very helpful in both returns and got me a replacement mixer within days.
