I am so glad i bought this

Comments about Nady PFW-15 2-Way 15" Monitor Speaker:

I have a pretty extensive set up in my basement (Eurodesk soundboard with 24 channels, two peavey 115's, and monitors, along with MXL condensers and pro sound mics.) I use this monitor for our drummer to listen to. I can't believe how well this actually worked a very good choice on my part I think. If you want something that works, I say go for it. : )

These are junk, save your money

Comments about Nady PFW-15 2-Way 15" Monitor Speaker:

Bought 2 of these monitors for band practice, and small to medium shows. We used a nice Peavey powered mixer to power these, for practice. No volume, the sound is muddy, will not hold up with decent clean power. The 2nd night the horn blew out, then the crossover. Took these apart and found out they have no magnets on the horns, the crossovers are basically garbage also, the woofers are crap as well. Basically if you get these, have fun blowing them up, the 1st day or 2, then buy some real quality parts to go in them. I installed Selenium 1" horns with 20oz magnets, Peavey Scorpion woofers, and JBL soundguard crossovers, and now these monitors are really nice and jamming. You can actually put the drum mix in them. Oh yea, the construnction of the enclosure is ok (mdf board). In-conclusion, these are great for blowing up, destroying, and then replacing with nice components.

You pay for what you get

Comments about Nady PFW-15 2-Way 15" Monitor Speaker:

I purchased one of these monitors as an affordable replacement drum monitor. The overall tone is muffley and carries a lot of mid-low. I had to tweek the hell out of it with my EQ's to get a good sound. I wasn't pushing more than 300watts through it (it's peak is rated at 500w) and blew the horn after 4 shows. I tried to replace the diaphram, but it's hard wired, and I can't get a replacement from the company. I'm pissed!

    Nady is da bomb!

    By Exodus

Comments about Nady PFW-15 2-Way 15" Monitor Speaker:

If you didn't know it, Nady is coming up in the world! I've used a Nady UHF-10 Wireless Vocal mic for a little over a year. When one of my Peavey monitors blew a speaker, I decided that they were too old and beyond repair, so I junked them and bought myself a pair of these babies. WOW! you'd think you were hearing a Peavey!! Great buy all-around!! Great use as stage monitors or overheads!!

This is by far the best deal for the money. No let down. This animal held every bit I tossed into it. I run a spm 6300 into it and it just gets warm. Can't miss for the cash.

    Good value product

Comments about Nady PFW-15 2-Way 15" Monitor Speaker:

Have used a pair of these for monitoring my karaoke shows. I am driving them with a Nady amp. They provide very crisp midrange frequencies and bass at low power levels. Don't expect them to have alot of "umph" at higher power levels. They serve their purpose and are easily transported.

    Good Quality Cabs

Comments about Nady PFW-15 2-Way 15" Monitor Speaker:

These cabs are great for practicing with the band. Also can be used as good monitors. I wouldn't put a guitar through it if your playing live, maybe just the vocals. Other than that, crystal clear sound.

    sceptical

Comments about Nady PFW-15 2-Way 15" Monitor Speaker:

I have 2 ps115's which are the mains form of these and have had speaker and crossover problems. While I've used this monitor on over 20 gigs without problems, I can't help but be concerned that the same problems will arise with this monitor. I've decide to head the problem off and replace the crossover and speaker with a dayton crossover and eminance speaker just for peace of mind.
