Not worth the money. Cough up the extra cash for a quality product to start with. This thing will not be loud enough, the horn driver will fail quickly, you will spend more money and time replacing the components with quality stuff to make it useable.
I bought one of these when the first came out for 69 bucks. Looked good. Sturdy cabinet, good metal grill for the woofer, 1/4" and binding post terminals for input.
Although the cabinet is well made, the components suck. The woofer is a terribly inefficient 92 or less dB spl unit which means it will take quite a lot of power to get any volume. Couple that with a really cheap low wattage horn driver which will fail in about 1 minute of usage with even the lowest of power input and you suddenly have a large door stop.
a terrible product. I had to replace the woofer with a more efficient peavey unit and the horn driver with a more robust driver (a cheap Pyle unit itself which far surpassed the stock all plastic unit. I have actually recently found the horn drivers on line selling for less than 2 dollars! What does that tell you?). Now I have an great stage monitor with volume and sound and durability, but after the upgrades I could have bought a quality USA made product for the same money and saved some time and effort.

I have 3 of these and a few higher priced 12" monitors and the only difference is the higher priced name brand ones have a volume knob other then that I can't tell the difference.

i bought a pair of these monitors and blew out the horn drivers in just a few minutes. got no hassle replacements from nady but they only lasted 10 minutes as well. they did sound good while they lasted. finally i replaced these horns with some higher quality ones at my expense - now these monitors sound great, it just was not as good a deal as i had hoped.
