This is great deal and I've been using it for some time now and it's holding up real well.. The construction is sturdy, the gooseneck is thicker than other models I've seen and holds well. I especially like the double mesh screen, which is a plus as others I've seen have only the single mesh which isn't as effective in filtering out pops.

I never liked Nady products, but I figured for the price, I'd give the Nady MPF-6 pop filter a shot. Well, the filter itself works. That's about all I can say for it. Getting the arm to stay in place takes an act of congress. I doubt Pam Anderson could keep this thing up. This thing does little more than some duct take, a wire clothes hanger, and a pair of your mommy's nylons.Probably could have got the cheaper one and had the same (or better) result.Oh well. I should have listened to my own advice. My home studio shant suffer, and I won't let if affect my performance.

Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

This is an exceptional pop filter for the price. It's the cheapest one in its category but it does exactly what it is designed to do. It filters out plosives, moves exactly where you need it to, stays put once it's there. It even has a rubber boot on the clamp to protect the finish on the mic stand. Bottom line - all of the features and flexibility of the higher priced filters at a fraction of the price.

    Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

If getting bang for the buck is your style and you need a pop filter, then this Nady pop filter is the rig to get. I got one for my little home studio to put in front of my condensor mics, and I have to say that I am very satisfied with the quality and effectiveness of this pop filter. I have had no issues with it at all. It stays put where I want it, and it blocks the nasty noises. It works, plain and simple, and is a great deal for the money.

    Poorly designed

    Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

Look at the photo. Where is the majority of the weight held? These things fall apart very qickly because of that design flaw. Some, at this price are welded: no difference. If one does any recording at all, you can SAVE money by spending for a properly engineered pop screen!

Only As Good As You Are

    Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

I've never used a pop filter before, so this is my first one. I must say that my "pops" were not eliminated, but diminished. I have to control my vocal force and even my distance from the filter and mic when I anticipate a plosive- then the "pops" are eliminated. I think this is a fair product if the singer also does his/her part in voice control and distance correction.

    Definitely Worth the Money

    Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

This pop filter has a nice strong gooseneck. The screw is capped with a plastic grip so the it doesn't dig into the mic stand like other pop filters. Padding on the side opposite the screw would be nice, but a rubber band that is fitted tightly around it makes a nice grip. (Just use the one that keeps the gooseneck folded inside the package.) The best thing about this is that it has 2 layers. (one on each side of the hoop) I have seen more expensive pop filters that only have one layer. I will definitely buy more of these.

    Only one flaw

    By Patrick Dodge

    Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

The pop filter and the clamp work great - the flexibble gooseneck does not hold its position well. I would spend more next time for a better gooseneck.
Pop filter and clamp are good - gooseneck is weak.
Pop filter and clamp are good - gooseneck is poor.
I would spend more for a better gooseneck.

    Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

I was skeptical to get any pop filter at all, but then I decided on the Nady. I got it the other day and hooked it up and it works very well. Easy to hook on and station at any spot for your mics. Sounds great too. Get this if you need a pop filter.
