These will cost you more than you know...

Comments about Nady PS115 15" 500W 2-Way Speaker Pair:

So, I've owned a pair of these for about 5 years. I have blown the drivers more times than i can count. after the first 2 or 3 times i spent an extra hundred bucks and upgraded to the best drivers NADY makes... what a joke. I've blown them about a dozen times too. Nady is always nice about it and replaces them. but it costs me 10 bucks shipping per driver. I have more invested in upgraded drivers and shipping fees than i actually paid for the speakers in the first place. I just blew my drivers again today. I'm running a soundcraft gigrac (300W per channel). I'm on here buying different speakers.

Not much volume - overrated

Comments about Nady PS115 15" 500W 2-Way Speaker Pair:

I put off writing, hoping Nady would come through, but I have to discourage anyone from buying these. It appears to be a great value for the money, but these speakers don't come near the 250/500 watt rating. The worst part is that the horns and cross-over boards have failed several times, and Nady has been less than helpful in fixing the problem. These speakers cannot be pushed at all. They provide less volume than a pair of old 100 watt garage sale JBLs I was previously using. If you want something that looks good and sounds good at a low volume, these would be ok. But they will not handle a rock band at a small bar. Customer service is nearly non-existant.

I own these...

Comments about Nady PS115 15" 500W 2-Way Speaker Pair:

I'm a professional with over 35 years experience in stage, performance and recording. I bought a pair of these as cheap fill for my home set-up and just about choked. They suck folks. There's no performance at all. Thus, I added the lovely 18" subs thinking the Mfger might have a "balance" design to these. Uh, no! It only got worse. I use an active crossover, but no matter what you try, the "mids" are just gone. The horns screech, the subs woof, and well, it's not a system or combo - sorry. If you need inexpensive performance, try Peavey first.

Lost both horns

Comments about Nady PS115 15" 500W 2-Way Speaker Pair:

I have had a pair of these speakers for almost a year. Initally, I gave them really high marks. However, we have blown two horns in two consecutive shows at half volume. I don't know why the horns were blown but Nady is replacing them for free under warranty. Problem is, I don't expect the replacements to be better then the originals. So I will probably have to get other, more expensive, horns to replace the stock horns. It is no fun to have the horns die during the show. So I have downgraded my initial ratings on this product now that I have started using it live for gigs. For the price, we got alot of use out of them. But I can no longer give them highest marks due to recent unexplained failures.
