Comments about Nady PTS1015 2-Way 15" Speaker:

I use these with an old Yamaha powered mixer pushing 200 watts in my home studio. Playing drum machines, synthesizers, bass, guitar, vocals, etc... I'll say, that out of the box, these look great; solid cabinets, good construction. A couple things I've noticed on the sound; The grille is attached in such a way as to create a bit of a buzzing sound in one of the units, I'll tighten the screws or pull the grille off and install some sort of material to baffle, no biggie. The horns are a bit "tinny" but produce enough clarity to allow for adjustment to find the unfortunately elusive sweet spot. As for the woofers; 15", awesome right? Well, I'll say that as the bass frequency goes down these easily have a tendency to "waffle". Kind of sounds more like puffing air than bass response, but these aren't subs and I didn't expect them to be. So, if you don't travel into the sub-bass realm these certainly can handle some wattage and push some volume. I'm giving 4 stars based upon the price, I got these on sale and paid so little that these issues I speak of are of very little consequence.

Great Speaker

Comments about Nady PTS1015 2-Way 15" Speaker:

You can't beat it for the price, great looks, great sound, crisp highs, thundering lows, inexpensive, what more can I say? Buy these speakers, I love them.
Great sound, crisp highs, rumbling lows, looks great.
This speaker has a great sound quality for the price. We use it with another one matching it,and 2 other wedges, for a total of 4 for our mains, and can play pretty big events with ease.
Really worth the money, are they the best out there? No, but for the money, they're great..

Comments about Nady PTS1015 2-Way 15" Speaker:

I bought these speakers planning to beat them up doing sound for a local band. The crossovers crapped out, so I did an upgrade from piezos to a compression horn (w/h-d x-over). Now they rock almighty! This cab was a good deal for the box and woofer anyway (watch the stand sockets- I had to put longer screws in to anchor properly) and did a decent job even with the piezos. In my situation they ended up costing about the same as the comparable Peavey model, but if you don't fry the crossover, then these are a fair deal.

Comments about Nady PTS1015 2-Way 15" Speaker:

The sound wasn't bad, but the constant down time didn't make these cost effective for me. We use them in live performances and constantly blowing the horn drivers. Nady offers an updated horn driver which I strongly recommend. Nady customer support is great!!! They will get you the parts you need.

I purchased a pair of these A month ago. I needed something small for practicing in a small area. These speakers did the trick. They sound great for vocals. I was impressed.
