I bought four pair for these for my studio just to have some extra ones on hand. I used them on one project and then had to throw them away. I thought they were pretty comfortable, but you can't get much volume out of them without distortion, there is much bleed over, and with all four pair, one pair quit all together, and the other three shorted out on one side. You get what you pay for. You're way better off to save twenty more bucks and buy a better set. My Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs have been around for a long time and many sessions, and will for many more.

Good piece of equipment for the price. The sound is very clear and crisp, and I have not a single problem with them so far since I have only used them for a month. I would definitely recommend buying them if you are in a low budget or what not.

Comments about Nady QH560 Deluxe Studio Headphones Buy Two and Save:

Come on, did you people read the description before you purchased these? They are OPENED BACK. They are supposed to be that way. The open back is for people that want the sound of headphones but be able to hear some of the sounds around you. I really like the open back design I have purchased 6 pair to use in my studio and i have not had one single complaint in over three years of use. Their not great for mixing because they are a little bright but in general listening most people prefer a cleaner sound. If you don't want sound to bleed through don't buy. I really like to be able to listen and not be so isolated from the room. If you need isolation then you should buy isolation type headphones.

I've used these for a number of years and I have to say that I never really liked them. They are very uncomfortable and they bleed over a lot if used near a microphone (and by near I mean in the same room). My son broke them and I thanked him because now I have to by a new pair of headphones. It won't be these again.

Comments about Nady QH560 Deluxe Studio Headphones Buy Two and Save:

I have owned these for about 6 months. Though I don't do any recording with them, the sound is quite acceptable. I use them for listening to mp3 player and the home theater when I don't want to disturb anyone else. The bass is full and the highs are clear. Many have complained about the speaker sticking out and being painful, but mine are made with the ear padding almost 3/8" further out than the speaker. I can wear these for hours on end and enjoy every minute of it. The volume factor is good as well, my Sansa mp3 player can crank these puppies up so loud that it almost hurts, and still maintain good clarity. The 2fer deal is a great one. Do understand that with the open back, others will hear what you're listening to if you crank it up.

Hey they sound great and have used every week for over 3 years. They are open ear and may not be the best for you if you are recording vocals. Honestly will that much leakage effect your song? Just saw a Metallica Video in the studio and the singer is using a SM7 in front of a pair of speakers! Very comfortable and I love them. I buy some every year as gifts.

great deal! 2 excellent studio quality head phones for 1 super price. i bought these to replace 2 pair of studio mixing headphones. the 1st set was destroyed by my granddaughter trying to listen to my fm-1s while they were turned off. she kept trying to turn them up to match bi-amped studios for volume. it's a long story.

her brother "borrowed" a pair to take a train trip to see his gf. the headphones were left on the train... sigh.

anyway! i ordered theses to get me through a mixing project. what a surprise! they are smooth, balanced, responsive and invisible. i'm ordering more.
they are headphones. very lite, comfortable and easy to adjust. easy to wear. plug 'em in. put 'em on. go
if you're looking for a set to record and mix with... get these. are there better yes? anywhere near the price? nope

These are my backups for when some of my clumsier friends come by to record. Not the best sound quality or build, but definitely worth the money.

Comments about Nady QH560 Deluxe Studio Headphones Buy Two and Save:

I wanted some good phones for some at home recording and for rehearsals using my EBS Micro Bass II preamp. These Nady QH560 phones SLAM!! Even more awesome was the 2 sets for one low price deal. I am very happy with the sound quality and overall construction. The midrange pattern is very nice for hearing various facets of recording. The upper treble frequencies are very usable but at times can sound a little edgy. Not harsh, just not as smooth as some upper level phones. If they cost more, my expectancy would be higher. The lows are pleasing and I have yet to exceed their headroom capacity. In my opinion, they are very transparent and reproduce what you are "actually" hearing versus adding their own tonality.

My only complaints are: 1). The Micro-fiber, fabric ear liners. Very comfortable, but in a sweaty, non personal situation, that could become a sanitary issue. 2). The headband adjustment is a little awkward, until you get used to them. I have not had a situation where they have slipped off my head. If you like to head bang, while you record etc.., you may want to find phones with a more securing headband feature.

I have owned and used these for about five years now and for recording, practice, and listening to my own music as well as to others, I think that these are excellent, compared to any headphones and superb for the money.I also think that they look great. Also, the open headphones are perfect for studio, as long as you are using dynamic and not condenser mikes. I love them for listening to the other musicians in the room when we are recording more tracks at once. I also think that they are very accurate for recording. I've compared them to many other headphones and think that they are in the upper middle quality, or even above, among headphones, because they have very good detail. Also, mine have never stopped working in one ear and I've bought four of them. I also don't find them to be uncomfortable at all, for my head/ears, nor do they ugly to me...they look nice to me.

I've had these about two years now. One pair broke, but I was sort of careless with them, and the other pair is still holding strong. They sound nice and clear and are really comfortable as well, which is important. I use them when I record and whatnot.

I definitely would recommend these to anyone, you get two pairs of reliable headphones for a very reasonable price. I may actually order them again.

Comments about Nady QH560 Deluxe Studio Headphones Buy Two and Save:

Ya, they do leak sound from the open back, so when doing vocals use other headphones or turn them down, but then you can't get into the song as much as you should. Mine are in perfect condition and I've had them for like 3 years. I own a few other brands and these were actually a good buy, they are loud and only uncomfortable if you have big a** ears. They are comfortable for me for long 3-4 hour sessions. It's a good buy. But if you are working on something very serious, maybe a closed back.

Comments about Nady QH560 Deluxe Studio Headphones Buy Two and Save:

Awhile back I purchased two sets of these on a stupid deal of the day not expecting anything good. Man was I surprised! That is why I bought two more recently when they were on sale at an even more ridiculous low price. Super product, work very well, and in my opinion WELL WORTH INVESTING IN. If I may take the time...I am sick and tired of all the CRY BABIES out there who appearently never make a mistake. The name of this company (i am not an employee, just a satisfied customer) is Muscians FRIEND! All you folks who bad mouth their hard work and dedication to us should remember that NO ONE NOT EVEN YOU is perfect. Treat them well and they will jump through whatever hoops necessary to resolve whatever issue(s) you may have. These are good people and deserve better.
