Mic is okay, cable sucks.

The mic is pretty decent for the money.

The cable on the other hand did not hold up very long at all.

I've owned this mic for a couple years now and have used this mic in a couple different projects.

Good for high volume stuff, not so much for quiet stuff.

As far as I can tell it's best for mid range stuff like vocals, guitar cabs.

Works decent as an overhead.

If you have an isolated space and can crank the preamp, works okay on micing acoustic.

As expected from the frequency response, not spectacular for kicks, bass cabs, or floor toms.

This microphone is great! Like the other comments state, the cable isn't top of the line. The main reason the cable gets a low score is because the XLR casing/housing isn't die-cast, it's plastic, I would suggest a new cable of your liking. The mic itself is great; durable, stable, die-cast and does exactly what it should. great sound quality. I would definitely recommend this.

i bought this mic and it works suprisingly very well for what we do we are heavy on this mic with all the screams and vocal constructions i do but over all its a very well developed mic i do recommend it to any new comers and it willl do its job its cheap its sounds great it works great and very durable very good value very good price!
