Kicking butt bridged running two EV speakers hard pounding power. I wonder how much better a more expensive amp could really do. LET ME KNOW IF YOU KNOW! Don't let me know if you say that you're paying for reliability. That's funny, that's what they always say about a higher-priced product that usually ends up with problems as often as the cheaper one, it just costs a whole lot more to get the expensive amp worked on, parts too!

I am a once full time (20 yrs+, w/endorsments, MTV in the '80s etc...)now part time pro. was attracted by the bang for the buck for my second PA rig for bar gigs. But like most of the other reviews I've read here, mine lasted about 6 months before it fried. Had to rent for a month to keep gigging w/o pulling other amps from my other system(other band & Truck) plus pay big bucks for shipping. First time MF sent me a new amp, second time I'm out of my 45 day return and have to send to Nady who say they're sending me a new amp but sent me back one that I don't even think was mine. No signal l.e.d.s only clipping, but... it is still working, knock on wood. Would I buy another one. Probably not. I wanted the new Berhinger Amps but they were not out yet. I own two of the XA amps, the 1100 I had a similar problem with, but the 900 has not failed me yet. noisy, but reliable so far.

I now have two Nady SPA series amps, a 1400 and a 2400. Both came with the fans blowing to the rear. This is opposite the stated direction in the features description and manual. The fan is accessed from the top, by removing the top cover and fan mounting screws with a phillips screwdriver, turning the fan around, and reinstalling. These amps are working well for me now, but where is the QC on these amps?
Have had a few of these spa-2400 for a few years now and had no problem, run them all night and all day for the carnival season on bass, you just got to know your amplifier, thanks to nady.
Have had this amp for 4 years with no problems at all. Either I'm lucky or the product is good. I've used it for mains, monitors, even as a guitar amp....works fine.
Buy one, two or more - great for monitors too! Two rack space is nice, lots of good features, the clip limiter is nice.
I purchased 2 SPA 2400s and so far am very pleased with them. The only thing I noticed wrong with 1 of them was the 115v-220v switch was wired backwards but it still worked fine and wasnt worth the time and effort to return.
An average power amp at a nice low price. Does the job without bells and whistles.
This product burned in the first six months I had it, only using it twice a month. Nady replaced it and the new one lasted about five months before it, too, burnt. Is it my doing? I have other amps,(Peavey and Qsc) that are over 10 years old and I haven't hurt them. Also I have read other reviews of Nady amps and most say something burns in them. The price for the amp is why I bought it and now that I have spent $80 returning them to Nady, I'm the loser!
Pretty good, but could be better.
nady gives you a 3 year warranty and there's a reason for it. In august of 2004 the amp blew so I sent it in for repair or replacement. About 3 to 4 weeks later I got it back.Just last night at a job it blew again. Had to take down the subwoofer and use that amp so we could finish the night. I'll send it in again for repair but when I get it back I'll sell it.Best bang for your wattage buck? Don't think so.Figuring the price of the unit, add the price to have it repaired. for just a few dollars more, I could have had a more reliable amp. For the first year it was fine. But now.....I'm not saying you should not buy this unit, but be prepared for it to go at any time.
I have always owned Crowns in the past and they are great amps. However these NADY's are so cheap you can afford to have one or two spares around for safe keeping. I have one spare 2400 and own three others. The only problem I have had is the on off switch no working properly. Easy fix myself with a file. So far so good!!
