What can I say? It amplifies! It sounds good! It's loud! It was cheap!
Good quality Amp. Good sound for live performance.GOOD JOB NADY AUDIO!!!
The fan runs backward but still seems to do the job, though be a problem when installed in a rack.
I have had this amp for 6 years and aside from some noise in the volume controls (Expected, and who uses them anyway?) this amp has proformed right along side much more expensive amps (a Peavey is in the rack above, and a Phonic 2500 & 1500 below) I has been abused, overheated, overworked, and under ohmed and still does not hesitate to perform this amp is not as transparent as some (hissing with no signal) but certainly gets the job done. This unit is perfect for the working band on a budget.
I've had it a year, and I can really depend on it. Never even staticed or crackled, clean controls, good selection of modes. Tough unit; a little big/heavy, but - for this amount of money, it's way better than what else is out there, and to me, just as good as the ones that cost a lot more. I'd have Crowns if EMG would return my phone calls, but for a workin' guy, this thing is great.
This is great power for the dollar. Nady has included many of the professional features needed in today's amplifier products. I use the 2-ohm per side stereo mode to power four 4-ohm subs. I do not know about other Nady amps, but this one is a winner!
I have used this thing for every type of gig imaginable, and it has preformed well. I would recomend using the Speak-on connections over the bannanna clips, its a little more expensive, but saves a crap load of money on bent clips in the long run. The amp has been veaten to hell and back, and it hasnt died yet. It surged once (my fault)and blew a fuse or 2. that is my only negative responce is placement and ease of taking the housing off.
I was so surprised at how good this amp was. I am a music teacher and need a reliable, durable product because I use it daily. Nice sound!
I needed 2 new amps to go with my 2 CE1000?s. I couldn?t afford 2 more crowns, but theses are half as much as a CE1000. I am using one bridged mono for the 15? on my mains. Half of the other is driving my horns, and the other half my monitors. This amp can take a 2-ohm load without a sweat. I was worried when the manual said the airflow was back to front, thinking this would mess up my rack with the CE1000?s, but they actually go air in the front, out the back. Overall a good amp for the price.
I have used this amplifier for the last three years as a mobile DJ. I have two of them (one for satellites and one for the subs). I just ordered two PR15 Peaveys and will be eager to see how the Nady powers them. These Amps are 110 percent reliable and sound awesome. Not one problem in the three years I have had them.
