If you are looking for a good sounding wireless mic for a cheap price this is the one to buy. Seriously, I've sang into wireless SM58 mics and they are good, but this Nady mic is just about the same if not better. I had no trouble with feedback at all. I play in a band singing classic rock to country and it sounds great. I have the microphone hooked up to a Beringer mixer and sounds great with Yamaha and JBL speakers. The only thing I don't like is the mute switch and On/Off switch is on the bottom, That's it. Seriously I recommend you to buy this unit!
Demo-ed it for a friend and bought it. Great sound even compared to other mics we had there (Shure, Beyer, and some others). Better sounding than the SM58 and on par with the Beyer no kidding. Handling noise was very low. The mic was in a rugged feeling metal case but the receiver felt kinda cheap. Don't know how it gigs because I haven't had it long but rather than take a chance I mounted it in a rack.
A really decent mic for voice reproduction. Great distance if out in the open with minimal obstructions. I hate the small switches underneath make turning this thing on and off a pain in the rear. Sturdy Construction.
The Nady WS-16U/HT 16 Channel UHF Wireless Hand-Held System, is ok if you have limited funds; however, it is still a Nady. At face value this is an ok mike, but the only volume control is on the mixer you use, and the clarity sometimes is not the greatest. This mike also does not do well with singing vocals, only speaking vocals... My rating was generous.
This product works great for a while and then unexpectedly just throws a short. One purchase smoked, another just stopped working (all bought at different times). When the fault happens, it shows red and green light lit together on handheld. DOES NOT WORK AFTER THAT!
This makes my third replacement of this particular mic. Let someone drop it and one of the cheaply made plastic pieces on the circuit board snaps off, leaving you with a mic that either won't turn on or won't make a sound. Don't try to replace the handheld alone from the manufacturer, just buy a new receiver and mic from this site. It's cheaper that way. Or if you can afford it, steer your purchasing power to a higher quality product.
