I have owned 4 Numark Axis-9s. Two I had for approximately 2 years and then stolen. My second paid I have had for a year now. This 2nd pair has been getting used 7 NIGHTS A WEEK!! And They are GREAT!! Highly HIGHLY recommended! There are minor problems and inconsistancies, but you NEED to follow instructions at startup so everything works properly. Turn on, let it startup for 30 seconds and don't touch anything, insert disc, turn on features. If you do that, the Numark Axis-9s are excellent! There are rare problems with burnt discs, but it also recommends you burn discs at 4x speed, and if you do so disc work fine. I definitely recommend Numark Axis-9s. Great for the money, lots of features, nice jog wheel for easy scratching, lightweight. Just take care of them as you would any valuable piece of equipment.

I am a professional DJ - randomly during gigs/events when I am playing a song, the song will loop or repeat itself in a particular spot, without any notice and without the activation of the Loop Feature or Repeat Feature. The product is made of crappy plastic, and easily scratches. In fact, I've only had the product (I own two of them) for a few months now and there scratched on the sides, and at all the gigs I've DJ'ed with them they've encountered some issue. I am infuriated with this product, and would recommend to all that you never purchase it. Its embarrassing to be DJ'ing a set and in the middle it just stops playing, loops over and over again, or repeats the song. Do not purchase this product.

Perfect beginner players. I started with CDs and upgraded to serato. I started scratching and these kept up for awhile. I just got the new NS7 because I wanted bigger platters that spin. I'm keeping these though to teach new padawan learners

This unit has everything you will ever need! if you have the money go for numarks CDX but all it is, it has the addition of the vinyl deck, this is a very fine piece of equipment and must be treated as such, and I am definatly buying a couple of these in a few months!

I have used Numark gear for a long time and have always had good luck with there cd players. But when i switched to the Axis 9, i was blown away. This Cd player not only has functions and features that put it ahead of the competition but it's price is unbeatable. I'm very surprised at how good the scratch feature is. I wish they kept making it in blue.

I have had a pair of Axis 9's for about for 4 months and am very happy with them. Great for all the effects and the ability to scratch. I really want the Cdx or a set of Denons, but the price is high. If you want a good mid range cd player, check out the Axis 9.
