Comments about Numark iDec iPod Recording & Playback System:
The iDec is a nicely built unit that performs as promised. It looks slick in a rack and gives nice controls to run your iPod with. The only problem I find is that it doesn't jump to letter search like the iPod does when you spon the wheel quickly. This means that scrolling from AC/DC to ZZ Top on a 160GB iPod takes quite a while. If you are working with preset playlists, great. Otherwise you will revert to the clickwheel on the iPod itseld, kind of defeating the reason for buying this thing. If you are using a 16GB iPod, then no worries. The smaller library is easy enough to navigate.Of course just plugging the iPod in with a minijack cable is almost as good and a heck of a lot cheaper.
