I haven't used many other shockmounts, but this one only seems adequate. The wing nut doesnt lock very tight, so its hard to get the mic at the propper angle. The integrated euro thread adapter is a nice feature and it does cut down on noise nicely. Go for it if you don't have another alternative.

Good shock mount for large condenser mics

Comments about On-Stage Stands MY410 Studio Microphone Shockmount:

Im not sure why this product has received such low ratings, but it does what it's supposed to do. I use it with my Oktava MK319 and it fits well. I ordered it as a replacement for my original shock mount (brand unknown), because it was held together with rubber cords that dried out and broke. This mount has nylon cords which are far less likely to snap. Overall, it's a simple mount of sturdy construction and is also generally less expensive than its alternatives.
