The other grill fell apart this made it all new again.

Seems sturdy enough. I purchased it to fix a broken Radio Shack/Tandy microphone but this was too small to fit over the element. I tried it on a different dynamic mic and it fit but it would appear different mics have different flanges that make this not so universal. I think on most dynamic mics this might be an ok solution if those mics are beater mics but I'm not sure I'd recommend this for expensive mics, where you'd probably be better served looking into original parts.
