Fine-tuning of the operating system, hardware and system setup give Rok Box MC as much as an 80% improvement in performance over off-the-shelf PCs, while dedicated system and audio hard drives keep your files streamlined and guarantee smooth, consistent results everyday. The Rok Box MC 64s model comes with the option of installing the PC in a 4U Rackspace.
Ground breaking Intel Core i7 performance
Intel’s next generation Core i7 processor sets the benchmark standard for audio processing, power and performance in a single processor design.
Integrated Memory Controller
New for the Core i7 Sandy Bridge E processor is a built in memory controller. Using four channels of DDR3 memory connected directly to the processor helps to lower latency, speed up rendering, reduce sample library load times, and improve overall system responsiveness.
Fast, Efficient, Smart Cache
Cache is a smaller, faster memory inside the processor and it stores the most frequently used memory tasks. Rather than have a separate cache per processor, Smart Cache dynamically shares 100% of the total available cache with each processor to improve overall performance.
Quick Path Interconnect (QPI)
QPI is a very efficient point-to-point, bi-directional connection between the processor and the X79 chipset, I/O hub, the hard drives, USB, FireWire, network, and other devices and peripherals connected to the computer. The Rok Box MC 64 has a QPI of up to 4.8GT/s.
Windows 7 64-bit gives you all-access to more memory
Windows 7 64-bit opens the door to using more than 4GB of system memory. Load up all the sounds you want and then add some more, just because you can.
Your 64-bit instruments will thank you
Virtual Instruments that use a file-based sound library work by loading the beginning of a sound into system memory. Complex sound libraries are capable of loading up to 300+ voices into memory. With 32GB, Rok Box MC 64s ensures that playback happens smoothly from the first note all the way up until the final fade out.
Triple Display Graphics
See more of your projects and stay organized! Triple-head graphics cards allow you to hook up three screens and organize your DAW windows any way you please.
ATI Radeon HD6750
The advanced power of the ATI Radeon HD 6750 graphics card with a whopping 1GB of video memory make audio editing a breeze on multiple displays. Supports DVI-D (DVI Dual-Link) for 2560x1600 screen resolution.
More Drives, More Songs
Smooth playback is what Rok Box MC 64s is all about. Rok Box MC 64s comes with three dedicated hard drives to keep your files streamlined and guarantee consistent results everyday.
500GB System Hard Drive
Windows 7 is installed to this hard drive. All software titles should be installed to this hard drive as well.
1TB Audio Hard Drive
Your music projects and all recorded audio files should be saved to this hard drive for best playback and recording results.
2TB Sample Library Hard Drive
Organize and store your sample libraries on this hard drive for efficient sample loading and maximum voice polyphony.
Full-length PCIe and PCI cards
A case design with room for full-length expansion cards like Pro Tools HD gives you the choice to use the tools you need to make music. Enough wiggle room for the most demanding audio and DSP expansion cards. Whether it’s a Pro Tools HD system or a TC Powercore card, Rok Box MC 64s has what you need to get started and even more room to grow.
Whisper Quiet Operation
The special blend of cooling fans and power supply work in harmony to create a quiet and stable audio computer. So quiet, in fact, that you might not even notice it's in the same room.
The award winning Quiet Power Supply has the ability to consistently deliver power in a way that is both very quiet and very efficient. The extremely quiet chassis fan design keeps things cool on the inside while the super silent processor fan and heatsink, designed to match the Intel Core i7 processor's thermal characteristics, ensures the best possible audio performance all year round.
Safe and Sound
Real world testing scenarios that go beyond the benchmarks make Rok Box MC 64s the ultimate off-the-shelf solution for composing, recording and live production. The native CPU power of the Intel Core i7 processor lets you load more instrument tracks than ever before without the need to freeze tracks. Record multiple takes with confidence, overdub vocals to create harmonies, layer rhythm guitars for a full sound, and score a film. Do it all with Rok Box MC 64s.
Training and Warranty
Every PCAudioLabs computer comes with 30 minutes of training and support provided free of charge by OBEDIA. With phone, e-mail and remote access options, you will be covered from the start. There is also a full year of protection for both parts and labor in the unlikely event of a part needing to be replaced in your system.

Comments about PC AUDIO LABS Rok Box MC 64s Desktop/4U Rackmount PC:
PC Audiolabs used to make a really great PC. The original founders, owners, and technicians of the company are no longer involved in any way. This machine arrived with very cheap parts and would not even start up. Given the quality of the parts this machine is also way over priced. This is the second one that I ordered from Musician's friend and I had the same experience with both orders. Unfortunately, Dell or HP would be a much better selection at this point.
