Sturdy

Comments about Peavey CS 3000 Power Amplifier:

I've been using two of these amps for over two years to run main & sub speakers in various sized venues. The amps are extreemly versitile and offer a wide range of connection options for larger or smaller PA's. I've heard better sounding amps, but only in studios - and I wouldn't dare take those on the road! The best thing about these amps is their durability. After two years of abuse two & three times a week, they are still performing as well as the day I bought them. They are a bit expensive when compared to others, but you often get what you pay for!

I bought this amp to power a set of double fifteen full range yorkville cabs rated at eight hundred watts @4 ohms each. It does great I dont know about all the heat comments I've heard on these amps but this one is one of the cooler amps I have. I was considering the qsc plx line but I rented one and was not impressed Anyway Its a great sounding amp has done all day rock events with no Issues. Would buy again
