Our southern gospel group has used a Peavey Escort system for many years, with excellent sound quality.  The only negative to the system is the latches, which tend to break (I have replaced 3 so far).  This is an excellent system for use in a small venue, such as a small church or nursing home concert.  We have even piggybacked our system into a larger system for a bigger sound.  No distortion or other problems.

Used this as our PA weekly for a college group.  Packed it up each week and traveled to gigs with it as well.  It works great for small practice venues too.  We would crank the sound on this system and it would take it.  Dropped a speaker down stairs a couple times and they still work great.  If you are looking for a solid travel PA that will take a beating this is it.  Only draw back it the latches are not that great (hints the speaker falling down the stairs.) Plenty of handle to carry it, plus the wheels are great to roll.

I like it b/c it is compact and you can just load it and go. great sound! the only thing that i don't like is that the legs for the speakers are kinda small so they get wobbly. however the stands fold up and fit inside the unit. overall I like this system a lot. perfect for home recording too.

I play small gig stuff and this unit has plenty enough punch. It has a lot of hookup options, sounds good, rugged, great for soloist, duet, or addition to small band. I drilled out the top of the frame and bolted the amp support web-frame to the x-legs. Peavey should have done the same and put a quick disconnect pin for easy assemsbly/disa... and the stands could be sturdier, but OK if careful. Great for artist that wants volume & other options, but doesn't want to really blow the roof off a place. All in all, I really like this thing for the money and have enjoyed it.

I have been using this ste-up for the past three years. Its my pre-recorded background producer while I play solos on Tenor, Alto and Clarinet. I even use cordless mic for vocal, both male and female. It has always worked and is easy to carry and set up, with a big sound inside or outside. For my use its better than any other outfit I have ever used.  Charlie Grabein Houston,Texas
