Comments about Peavey PR 10 Loudspeaker:

After reading reviews on this product I purchased a pair for our church sanctuary. After two weeks of church services there has been a flood of positive comments as to clarity. I am getting ready to purchase another pair for the adjacent social hall. The wall mount speaker brackets gave a neat clean appearence for the installation, I also purchased from Musician's Friend. Great value for not a lot of money.

Comments about Peavey PR 10 Loudspeaker:

Was working with 15" 60 pound speakers which were back-breaking to load. I work with an Archaic Fender Pedal Bass and Yamaha P-95 keyboard. Was uncertain the PR-10's could handle the bass. They are stunning for their size. Wouldn't be great for gut-thumping disco use, but for even a fairly large room, the PR-10's are great!

Comments about Peavey PR 10 Loudspeaker:

We play at several bars and wineries and portability is a must. We run a pair of Peavy PR12's for larger rooms, but for smaller settings (bar, restaurant, etc) these PR10's work and travel well. The lows are obviously not as good as with a larger speaker, but combined with any reasonable sub, they work as well as most 15 inchers.

We run Roland keys, acoustic guitar with pickup, EV wireless, Shure 57 and 58 mics. We also occasionally have a sax and run computer back tracks. All sound great. EQ on your board can mellow out any roughness. but the speakers sound good even without EQ.

Would recommend these to any musician requiring portability.

BTW Musicians Friend was very helpful in providing assistance when the order got messed up in cyberspace (my end, not theirs). Great customer service.

            Great value in Powerful Speaker

Comments about Peavey PR 10 Loudspeaker:

I bought a pair of these to add to the behringer PA system I had. I was able to daisy chain the speakers using the Peavey PR 10s. the behringer speakers also have 10" woofers. The sound was excellent. The range of sound was great from low to high. The 100hz was loud and clear as was the 15khz. I use them for DJing and the latest was at a company picnic on a half football field size area. The speakers projected very well with music and announcement of prizes. The system is rated at 450 watts/channel. I probably used about 250 watts/channel. All four of these speakers could easily fill up a gymnasium for a dance if needed.

            Unbelievable sound, light and durable

            By TJ 'Ricky Rox' Votel

Comments about Peavey PR 10 Loudspeaker:

I'm a full-time professional performing a variety of shows (Live Band, Karaoke & DJ) averaging 9 shows every week in a variety of clubs. People are always complimenting me on my terrific sound. Pros who are enured to higher end speakers are always amazed but I know that speakers are only one part of great sound. I've tried a lot of other speakers and can't find anything that works as well. I currently own ten pairs. They're light to carry & set up and practically bulletproof. They deliver fabulous sound across the spectrum. Just check the specs. I use the PR10s as mains in small to medium venues and as monitors everywhere. In 6 years of very hard daily use, pushing 95 to 105 decibles for upwards of 10 hours and I've lost only one voice coil and two tweeters (which were easy to replace). It comes down to this, if you want to invest money in other things besides a set of speakers and make life easier on yourself, these are your speakers.

            You can't beat Peavey

            By CR Guitar Man

Comments about Peavey PR 10 Loudspeaker:

I bought my first Peavey gear in 1995 when I was fronting a classic rock band in MN. I've still got that big PA, but I am now doing a lot of solo work and didn't feel like throwing those heavy SP-2s up on stands. I checked out the much lighter weight PR line and in the end I bought two each of the PR 15, PR 12 and PR 10 speakers. I usually stand the PR 15s and put the PR 10s on the ground by the stands, but facing back to me, so I can hear the house mix. These speakers perform beautifully, their molded construction makes them both light and durable. I love 'em!

These speakers can really put out some sound and not break apart . We are using them as monitors for the horn section and at times I have used them as little main speakers for small venues Great Peavy quality and value .

            Peavey PR10's

            By Steve Martin

            from Townsville, Qld, Australia

Comments about Peavey PR 10 Loudspeaker:

We've gigged with 2 of these great little boxes now 5 times & every player in the band loves them. We play jazz & I play piano & sing & the reproduction of both is like nothing else, IMO, on the market. We also run a slight bass feed out into them without any dramas. We use a Behringer Europower brick & the two match beautifully. The bottom end from the Peavey 10's is quite astounding, as well! We've really cranked the boxes with no breakup & seemingly the louder they are the better they become. I'm buying another pair & a smaller 5 channel Behringer amp for my daughter.

            great little speakers

            By tPoFJRDZJ

            from Undisclosed

Comments about Peavey PR 10 Loudspeaker:

Initially, I bought these as starter speakers because I was on a budget. Other than lack of low end punch, which you can't really expect in a speaker of this size and price, these little PR-10s put out amazingly clear mids and highs. And they handle more power than you'd expect. I've used two of these for many auditorium venues, and they've never failed to project clear sound throughout the room. I use a 2x250 powered mixer to drive them, so the whole setup did not cost much. I am continually amazed that my little setup can match or exceed the sound quality I hear from much more expensive equipment.
