Comments about Peavey PV 1500 Power Amp:
I have been wanting to go stereo for quite some time and I'm glad I waited amd got what I wanted. The availability for this series was a bit of a pain, but worth it. I use this with the PV10 and 14 boardand it sounds beautiful. Clean, full sound.
Comments about Peavey PV 1500 Power Amp:
I have had two of these amps for 10 years now. I use it two pv2600 in a 4-way setup for my band and also my sound company. I must say that any brainless dj can blow an amp or any other piece of equipment. This is a great product at a great price and it can take some serious abuse. I'd recommend this line of amps to anyone on a budget.
Comments about Peavey PV 1500 Power Amp:
I have worked with a variety of brand name amplifiers in my 20+ years a DJ. The PV-1500 is the best one that I've used to date. Right now, I have mounted the PV-1500 and a Crown XLS 602B. They are similar amps, but when I am only using a one amp setup, I much prefer the PV-1500. I just like the better sound it emits. And don't underestimate the value of the DDT feature.
Comments about Peavey PV 1500 Power Amp:
We purchased 6 of these amps for a out door DJ system. three of the amps push the highs. Two Peavey TLS-2X 250w per side. The other three one pushes two 15in TLS Subs and The other two push one(per amp) SPX18in subs. Awesome performance. oh an by the way did i mention that each speaker run was about 500FT long!! Theses amps can take some punishment and the pass through outs and cross overs help in eliminating costly DA's(distribution amps) and work great in enclosed rakcs. The only thing is that they use like 8 volts and when you put multiple amps on a circuit it's a lot. We burned two furman power conditoners. Other than that they're awesome. Don't get nady, get Peavey, worth the extra.

Save your money and buy crown or mackie. I used this Amp from March to November. At the beginning it was working fine with my two PV 215. Recently, when I was in a party, it just turn off. When I hit the switch bottom on the back, it went back on again. However channel B doesn't work any longer. This amp can not take any abuse at all and the funny thing is was not even at 75% of it limit. I would recommend crown xls 602. I have this one as well and been using for almost 3 years and no problems. Trust me the 602 could take some serious abuse. Save your money....DJ in NYC

This amp is the best! Most of the equipment i own is Peavey equipment, and i must say that this amp is more than worth the money. The DDT protection system really helps to get full volume without distortion.

I've been using this amp for several months and it's proved roadworthy and can be a great stand alone amp for a small system or a piece of a large system. Crossover/thru/outs and DDT makes this amp great!
Comments about Peavey PV 1500 Power Amp:
I do a traveling music show and I have this amp pushing two Peavy PR 15's and two Peavy PR 12s' and so for it has worked without a problem. It could use more outputs so you don't have to "chain" speakers together though, just more cables to string out. I only run it at about 70% power and it has held up under hours of constant music without any type of overload. But for a small operation like mine this amp is all I need. If I go with any more speakers I will buy another of these.
