Comments about Phonic POWERPOD 620 PLUS 200-Watt 6-Channel Powered Mixer with DFX:
This is one little power house, I've owned one for the past 8 years, and it's now that I'm going to replace it, with another one. Reason being I've beat the hell out of the one I own and I'm donating it to my nephew for his gigs, guess I'm just spoiled and want a new one. The controls are very easy to operate and can be set up for many applications in a small venues. I DJ and play live performances and this unit ROCKS! The FX are simple but limited, so I use pedals when needed. For live performance and recording sessions it's just the right thing, sound is excellent, I run 2 PhoniC speakers with 2 Peavey's and a separate monitor. I can pull full bass when I rock the DJ'ing for house music, and when it's time to rock she'll surprise you with high treb's for those guitar riff's. She won't disappoint, and the price is right. I suggest you treat her better then I did, so it'll last longer then 8 years, but I'm not complaining, just wish I did it and I wouldn't be getting another, my next one will be my go to baby.

Comments about Phonic POWERPOD 620 PLUS 200-Watt 6-Channel Powered Mixer with DFX:
There shouldn't be positive reviews of this product; in a world where reviews are written by customers who have used the product (as opposed to reviews written by people affiliated with businesses who use reviews as a platform for false advertising) there would be very, very, Very, few positive reviews for this product. I bought this phonic garbage box and tin can mic about a year ago, the purchase was split 5 ways with my other band members. We have been living with the regret of that purchase since we took it out of the box and plugged it in. We've since replaced it, and sometimes I use it as a mixer when I need extra channels, but only for fun, not for a quality recording at all as all sound running through this pa gets ruined, and the amount of noise coming out of this thing is appalling. Its amusing listening to how bad a recording can turn out when sound is coming through this thing. It also will never work for a live setting, un-mic'd gently played drums will drown this thing out. We used it in a fairly small practice space, the room is fairly well tuned too and sounds good, but the phonic gets drowned out in the mix if we run vocals to it, and we're not that loud. So if you need something louder than a small portable stereo, don't buy this. I also had the misfortune of seeing another band rehearse with the exact same model as the one we have, and it was equally awful, and they were equally disappointed.
This thing is basically a box with nobs and sliders and 1/4" inputs and nothing inside. Well, ok, not nothing, but only the cheapest of cheap generic components. This thing is a gimmick, it's a joke, and one that takes advantage of all us musicians/aspiring musicians. I recommend highly against wasting time on this. That saying, "you get what you pay for", well this thing here is an exception! I paid about two hundo fifty for it, and was I got was worth no more than, oh, twenty tops.

Comments about Phonic POWERPOD 620 PLUS 200-Watt 6-Channel Powered Mixer with DFX:
Bought this to use with two Fender 1205A speakers, works like a charm with them.
Multiple power modes (Mon/Main, Main/Main, Bridge) make the unit very versatile.
The unit was once accidently pulled off from on top of one of the speakers and fell 3 feet to the ground, rolling down a 7 foot hill. There wasn't even a scratch on it, this unit is solid.
My only complaint deals with transporting the mixer. There is only one handle, giving limited carrying options, and there aren't feet opposite the handle, meaning that you set it down on bare tolex. The power cord is not detachable, and hangs off awkwardly when carrying it.
Other than that, I have yet to have a problem with this mixer.
Comments about Phonic POWERPOD 620 PLUS 200-Watt 6-Channel Powered Mixer with DFX:
I spent 2 weeks reviewing and comparing several brands of power mixers from several different sources. The PowerPod 620 has lots of good features of more expensive power mixers like Mackie, Peavey, etc, etc. I would recommend this power mixer to anyone.
The mixer features are very good for the price. The amp has got plenty of power for the 6 multiple input channels, hi, lo Z, XLR, 1/4 in. inputs. I have not used the effects I/O part of the mixer. The sound is crisp and clear, utilizing the mic provided (600 ohm) and other mics (200 ohm) I have already. The effects are acceptable for my usage but could have more depth/definition. The 2 band EQ on each channel seems to function rather well over the various frequencies. The unit appears well built, the front panel is well laid out and pots are well identified with the silk screening. My Washburn acoustic electric sounds clean with or without the onboard EQ. There is very little resonance feedback, hum from the guitar that I have experienced with other mixers/ amps.
Overall a good middle of the road power mixer for small venues. Looks good, easy to use, appears well made.
A real good value for the money.
Comments about Phonic POWERPOD 620 PLUS 200-Watt 6-Channel Powered Mixer with DFX:
This is the first mixer I have purchased. Set-up was a breeze, power is plentiful (for my indoor use - have not tried it outside yet) and the effects are cool. I have my keyboard, guitar, drum set and 2 mics plugged in and it is awesome. Came with free speaker stands that are not cheesy. Great product for practice and probably will work well for small gigs.
Comments about Phonic POWERPOD 620 PLUS 200-Watt 6-Channel Powered Mixer with DFX:
I bought this for for acoustic gigs I do around town in a duo. It serves that purpose well but is definately underpowered for my full 5 piece rock band. The effects are plenty but very "digital" sounding. That said, the volume and effects are adequate for musicians on a budget in low-volume situations. You really do get a lot for your money therefore, I do plan on keeping it around.
