While I was skeptical to find a good sounding PA system for this price, I found myself very pleasantly surprised. After years of playing in bands with high powered systems, I was looking for a small, portable system for a two person acoustic arrangement. The Phonic Power Pod 620/SEM 710 combination has been everything and more than I expected. The 10" speakers will surprise you, and the 200 watts is plenty for small to medium clubs. The Super High impedance inputs allow me to plug my guitar in directly. While I will never use all of the built-in effects, I found a few that suit my style and they are clean and tasteful.I don't think you can go wrong with this PA system for the price.

I purchased this and the first time I used it I was not really impressed. The speakers are defianitly made for monitor speaker ONLY! I used them to DJ when I was younger and they did ok for as much wattage as they are. Unless you are going to use them for monitor speakers only...don't buy theses...save up and buy something better. The speakers have a crisp clear sound and they can go pritty loud for 80 watts each...but trust me...them cab is a little bigger than my hand....Save up for something more!

My band recently got this PA for practice and small gigs, and so far it has performed like a champ. The mixer is loaded with effects and extras, there are tons of inputs, and it can power more then just two speakers. This is a great PA for anyone who just wants a small system without breaking the bank.
This PA package was a great deal. I use the system for personal home use and I'm immensely satisfied. An amazing number of inputs which is what I was looking for. I wish it had faders as well as dials but they work well. I haven't played with the EQ features yet but the built in mic effects are preety sweet. I've gotten a little buzz at times but it usually comes from my sources not the system. I would reccomend this for anyone needing a personal PA.
this system from phonic way exceeded my expectations. it has far more power than actually needed for our small santurary. the sound quality with soundtracts is fantastic, and it is super easy to mix in the vocals.also it give us the ability to easily tape services. the effects are fun to play with but we actually use very few. this system does every thing we need and plus it offers us some room for expansion.if your on a tight budget and need great sound, buy this system.p.s. buy a good mic though. that is the weak link. everthing else, A+
I was skeptical at first, but when I got this it really sounded good. It handles low end very well, and is pretty loud. The features are great. I have recorded with this and it works good for that too. You can run Mains and Monitors out of this as well. I would recommend this product to anyone.
When I first recieved this system, I was a little skeptical about the quality considering the price tag was so low. I was pleasantly surprised that it is very capable system. I use it for band rehersals and I also use it as my own personal drum monitor system. It is very adaptable and works great for my use. I highly suggest this for some one in need of a small, inexpensive system. It has worked very well for me in many situations.
This thing owns. So many people buy huge systems and waste their money on extra power they'll never use. If you're thinking of buying this, remember the old saying: it's not the size that matters, it's how you use it. 200 watts is good enough for me, and I use this as my main PA for both practice and small gigs.
There are a lot of effects on this thing which I don't even use. I only use the reverb and some of the chorus settings on it and it works great! It went really easy on my budget and it hasn't let me down yet. EXCEPT for the mic that comes with it. It kept cutting out on me so I just threw out the cable and got a new one and it works fine now. It is nice for small gigs and is great for an aspiring metal vocalist. I definitely recommend it!
I've been gigging now for the last 12 years with a Mackie 1604 VLZPro mixer, equalizers and effects, Mackie 2500 Amp, and a custom heavy amp for monitors and 2 humongous JBL Speakers and 2 monitors. What a drag to get this lugged all around. The pain of setting up and tearing down. Then if one unit goes down, it all goes down. Then read on what the Beatles did back in the early days. 2 microphones, 1 25 watt amp and 2 12 inch speakers. Bought this unit, and played using 3 microphones just for vocals. And none of our other equipment miked. And played in a medium size hall. We sounded great, and the crowd loved us. What more can I say.
This piece of equipment is incredible. This is an amazing set of speakers for the price, even for any piece. If you want a PA system, this is the one to get.
I've had the Phonic Pod 620/SEM 710 PA system for about two months now. I'm in a three piece band right now and we practice in my Drummers spare room. I think this system is good for what we need right know. So far I have only ran vocals though it and everything sounds OK. Some speaker stands would be nice to have but these speakers also work well as moniters the way they sit on the floor. I have one big yamaha speaker and I am thinking of getting another so I can use included speakers only as moniters. All in all this system is good for the price.
