You won't find a better speaker / monitor in this price range PERIOD !!! We use these as rehersal mains, and then monitors at gigs on weekends, and they are still kickin'. Just be careful not to crack the 1/4 input jackplate.
I've had to take this speaker apart, and the internal wiring is Very Solid. The speakers produce great sound at this price range. Inputs X-2 is always a good thing when needed. We run 4 of these as monitors for gigs. Two Front, and Two Back with an 1800 watt amp, and their still here..Haha / As an added note, you can easily access the inside of this enclosure if you should ever need to replace anything. Some enclosures are not that user friendly.
My only problem with the overall design is the input jackplate. It is made from thin plastic.
Hence, it is very easy to crack if the 1/4 is jammed in hard. I took it out, and fixed it, but even a cheap metal jackplate would be better. (FYI) We play in the upper midwest, and the night it got broke, happened to be a cold night coming straight out of the trailer...Cold plastic is brittle, and cracks easily. ~So Be Warned~ (The Fix) I've since removed all these jackplates, and simply double masked the back of the jackplates with two strips of epoxied on duct tape in a crossing pattern, then trimmed out the input holes, and replaced the input jacks. It ain't rocket science, but their better. ~What can't be done with Duct Tape~Haha
We've used, and abused these for floor monitors since 2008, and their still tight sounding to this day. At this price, you can't beat that for value. They've paid for themselves many times over.

cabs are cheap MDF but son are the expensive ones these days.. speakers are high quality full spectrum. caropet is thin. no corners. No speakon connections. internal cross-overs. nice horn and / woof 2 way sounds.
speaker is high quality, the rest is standard cheap at this price point- expected.
the speaker alone is worth the price.

Comments about Phonic S715 15" 2-Way PA Speaker Cabinet:
These speakers are not very loud. They also don't have a very dynamic range of sound. No lows and muddy highs. They also both blew out on me within 2 months or so. I was only using these for a 2 man acoustic show at small venues, and they still had trouble. I have 2 kustom 10' monitors in that particular budget setup, and i think they sounded better than these 15's. Beringers are only $50 more...It's worth it.

Did quick comparison to Yamaha BR15, sound is reasonably similar, price is much cheaper, not too heavy. Probably not as well made, input connections seem a little sketchy. Should be okay as long as they are treated with TLC.

These work perfect for me. I got them with the package deal last month with the Powerpod 740 plus to use for practicing with my drums at home. They sound almost as good as the $1500 stereo I was using before and have a lot more power. Hooked up a $35 DVD player and a few mics on my kit and I use it as a monitor as well. This system works much better for me than a stereo and I will bet they can take a lot more power than the 740 puts out. Very highly recommended.
Would have got a 10, exept for the plastic jack plates. The cords that come with them are cheap but ok for home use.
You would have to look very hard to find a speaker/monitor of better quality at this price.

Last night was our first time using these speakers for our Watch-night service and those that were in attendance notice the difference..This is the first time I went outside of Peavey, but I am not disappointed at all.Buy these speakers if u want quality sound. I thought I would have to buy another PA system to push them... They are great speakers...
Sounds Great..
They are at a great price...
Comments about Phonic S715 15" 2-Way PA Speaker Cabinet:
These speakers should be priced way more than what theyre being sold for. If youre looking to practice or play a smaller venue, go with these. Sound is awesome, quality is on point, and the price is unbeatable.
Pretty much features what it needs. Strong handles on both sides, sturdy construction. Double port holes in the box really add some thump. Wouldve rated a 10 but these only feature 1/4" inupts and not speakon connectors.
When I ordered these, I got the whole PA package with the Phonic 740+ head. I expected these to be made of cheap carpet, and thinner mdf, and cheaper woofers and tweeters. When I pulled these out of the box I was shocked. These are really well made. The sound quality is very good as well. I run my Alesis drum kit and screaming/clean vocals out of 4 of these paralleled (I ordered 2 more afterwards). Every note and drum sound has its crisp highs and thumping lows, especially if you know anything about EQ.
All I can say is for the price. If you dont jump on these, you're missing out.

This speaker has been on the road with my son for 2 years and all I can say is buy this speaker. Geat sound with th right sound guy. Buy good cables, a good mixer and amp, and this is the speaker for you. I would buy again.
Some Plastic stuff...
For the price cannot be beat.
Cheap as dirt...
Comments about Phonic S715 15" 2-Way PA Speaker Cabinet:
We bought this as a package deal with the Phonics 600w. And we used this for monitors for our practice sessions. In the one year of practicing and giging, this product has worked very well for us and definitely paid it off with one gig. We are planning to buy two more of these speakers for monitors and powering it with a Beringer 4000, a Yamaha 20 channel board. We use two Eons JBL powered speakers for mains and we have done many live shows with these equipment. The phonics speaker has far exceded our expectations and we will be using this for years to come. I would highly recommend this to others who want a great sounding product without putting a hole in your pocket.
Comments about Phonic S715 15" 2-Way PA Speaker Cabinet:
I got two of these speakers when I purchased a Phonic PA package. I plugged in a small 15 watt bass amp as a sub through my mixing board and was amazed. these speakers are very solid. As I said earlier, it's smart to get a bass amp or a sub woofer because of the lack of low end on these cabinets. The other thing I love about these speakers are the tilt back on it's side to convert it to a monitor. I use this feature very frequently when I'm playing the drum track to a song I'm my studio. But all in all I'm pleased.
