Comments about Pioneer DDJ-SB2 Serato DJ Intro Controller:

Great little mixer/controller,except for one thing - the most important thing. There is a PRONOUNCED hiss coming from the output, and there is apparently no way to mitigate it. I have tried everything: swapping cables, master/trim/filter settings, numerous speakers, numerous laptops, and in fact numerous DDJ SB2 units. I am on my third one is as many months, all with the exact same problem, which was easily duplicated in the store where I bought the unit. Returning this one and I am done with Pioneer. Tech support says the same two things each time I call to report the problem: 1) we've never heard of that happening, and 2) return it or send it in for repair. Thing is, this hissing issue is ALL OVER the internet, so it's obviously not just me - and it's impossible that Pioneer has never heard of the issue. NEVER AGAIN. Too bad, cause otherwise I like it a lot.

Comments about Pioneer DDJ-SB2 Serato DJ Intro Controller:

I had a hercules rmx and a numark ns6 both where good but outdated so i sold them both and decided to finally get the ddj sb2 over comparable products. it was this or the sr but decided to get this and it was a good choice. it has everything you need for a beginner dj or for mobility. I will probably get the sx2 later since it has more features but for now very happy with this controler. much better than the rmx and its a pioneer so you can't go wrong.

Comments about Pioneer DDJ-SB2 Serato DJ Intro Controller:

It integrates well with mixxx and seems capable. It's a ton of fun. I got this because it had an onboard sound card so we could use this instead of buying a unique ASIO output to get it to the mixer. I will likely send this back because the onboard noise is so loud. Seriously, we've had minor hisses and hums like anyone, but this is 10x as loud as anything we've seen before. It's horrible.

Comments about Pioneer DDJ-SB2 Serato DJ Intro Controller:

I had to send mine back because the trip was somehow screwed up and it made created drop outs in the sound as I adjusted it. The build quality is plastic for sure I haven't compared it to any other controllers so for the price may be what is out there. The Q I found to be radical and the sound quality was very bright in the high-end. I think I would run this as a controller and use the soundcard from my computer to go directly into my amps
