This unit is one of the poorest quality pieces of equipment I have ever purchased. When it did work, it works fine, good features, and sound quality was good. But the process button only works 1/5 times you press it, and not it just randomly ceases to compress, without having a buttons or dials pressed, and I really have not used it that much at all. It's the last PreSonus anything I will buy.
I used it for Bass, it gave me a midrang honk that drove the boys in the band crazy. I stopped using it, now my sound is better.
the presets make it easy to use and it sounds pretty good; I use the "stereo" mix settings a lot for mixdown
This thing is awsome. It reminds me of the time, wait,no it doesn't.I am pretty new to comression, and I wanted something to kinda guide me. Well this is it. You can use the beautiful presets untill you get the hang of it,then you can mess with the knobs to create your own compression style.I really really like this thing for bass, it makes the bass line very fat sounding and adds this lush tone.
Presets are OK but could be better documented & editable.
