I was really excited about getting this loop set. Bun E. Carlos is a great drummer and Steve Albini is a great engineer. What more could you ask for to produce some great loops? A lot, apparently. The disc consists of drum loops of classic Cheap Trick songs as well as one-shots for creating your own patterns. Each set of loops is divided into individual song folders. The problem is that not all of the loops within a given folder are formatted at the same tempo, making it impossible to use some of them together. There is at least one loop file that contains no sound whatsoever. And a lot of the "one-shots" have been misformatted as "loops." Be sure you really want this when ordering as it is a non-returnable item. I have complained to both Q Up Arts and Musician's Friend about this disc. The loops themselves sound excellent, but the shortcomings of this disc have made me feel ripped off. I would recommend the Mick Fleetwood Total Drumming disc from Sonic Foundry over this one any day.
