QSC

A whopping 3600 watts of clean QSC power!

The PLX3602 power amplifier is an excellent choice for users who need to drive up to four loudspeakers from each amplifier channel (2-ohm loading), or when extremely high power bridged mono operation is required. Features built-in subwoofer processing, filter switches, and front panel indications of bridged mono status.

The PLX3602 power amp has a solid, cast-aluminum front panel that adds professional style to any rack while also acting as an integral I-beam, rigidly tying the chassis together for years of on-the-road reliability.

Additional mechanical touches such as the side stiffening rails, rear rack ears and cable tie anchor points attest to QSC's years of experience and attention to detail. QSC has even designed the integrated front handles so the amplifier slides into a rack without scraping your fingers on the rack sides.

PowerLight Technology
PowerLight switchmode technology replaces a large, heavy AC transformer (typically 20 lbs.) with a highly efficient and lighter-weight active design. Conventional AC transformers provide 100 or 120 energy pulses per second; the PowerLight supply delivers 190,000 to 230,000 pulses per second. More pulses make it easier to provide on-demand power for the amplifier's output section. The power supply doesn't sag so bass notes stay full and powerful while the high end remains crisp and clean.

Audio Quality
PLX2 audio power circuitry achieves performance normally associated with studio reference amplifiers. In order to reduce crossover distortion, precision bias tracking makes minute adjustments as amplifier temperature changes. The benefit is cleaner high-frequency and more consistent sound no matter how hard the amplifier is driven.

QSC PLX3602 Love the lightness, love the look, i pump the heck out of my stuff, so you dont have to. 2x Cerwin Vega SL 18's bottoms and JBL MRX tops. Much respect for RMX series 2450, The QSC PLX3602 shuts down at bridge mono for subs after a while :(, RMX dont. RMX too heavy but well worth it. Go with RMX 4050 and up if you serious.or dual bridge 2450. I pump it! these other clowns dont. QSC PLX3602 good for tops though and for stereo two bottoms. OUT!

Just purchased this amp for my gigging band and it is great. Used it three or four weeks now and it easily handles our Peavey SP 118s with no problems.I really like how easy the back display is to use. No dip swithes like our 2450s. 6 year warranty=no brainer.

I own two of these amps. I run them in the JBL MRX525 dual sub cabs. They sound amazing. I was using the RMX2450's, but they just could keep up with sub's appetite for power. not only do these perform better, but they weigh so much less. I do prefer the Crown XTI amps for my mains (highs) but for lows, these amps rock.

only a c+ for power

I give the 3602 a c+ for power output. for being a class h amp it HEATS an awful lot when in a 4 ohm load. 2ohms it will shut down after an hour or so into thermo. QSC is making many claims that their amps hit this ammount , but yet on a digital watt meter(hooked to the outputs) they all seam to fall short everytime. Not to mention this amp takes 11.5 amps of ac current so it almost needs its OWN power circuit, not usually availible in most locations. the pl series doent draw as much current, nor does the rmx, and the rmx puts out more power less heat. Will say on a positive note that the frequency of cleaning is reduced drastically. They dont seem to attract the crap inside as much as the rmx or usa series did.

crystal a-bomb

Clean, reliable, and powerful. My live sound reinforcement company owns one of these guys, and I've used many when contracting for other companies. With the Crown XTI series you get some added features, but for pro-audio applications those things are unnecessary (though for DJ systems they might be preferable). QSC has decided, instead, to put all of their money towards crystal clean sound with a-bomb like power. And at a hefty 21 lbs, who doesn't want to fill an amp rack with these?
