My system consists of (2) 3-way JBLs (800w), a Soundcraft GB2R 16 channel board, DBX 2231 EQ, Lexicon effects, powered stage monitors and subs, and now the QSC RMX 4050HD. Sounds great.
With 800w per channel @ 8 ohms, the raw, clean power was the only feature in which I was interested. I didn't want a lot of bells and whistles.
I have not owned the 4050 for long, but it came highly recommended by some professional sound men I know. It is built like a tank and I expect it will perform well for a long time.
When I tried to order online, I had some questions. So I called MF and they gave me an even better deal, the best price I could find.

I use this amp for DJing (touring). I run a 24 channel board,DBX 120 and a pair of Peavey QW4's. Outstanding sound with lots of headroom. If your not careful the power will nock the foundation off your house. No kidding :). Outstanding amp!!!!!

This amp is great for a lot of different things. I used it on the road dj'ing for a while then I hooked it up to a couple of Peavey Q-Wave 4 speakers in my living room and it was great. You can barely hear the fans running. Only downfall to this amp is that it is HEAVY. All in all definately one of the best amps I have owned.

I own one rmx 4050 and let me tell you it can really handle subs quite nicely. I use it to push 2 sometimes 4 earthquakes 18" 750/1500 watt cerwin vegas. I run them together with equal amount of djs4 with a peavey 2000s and can make them pair up nicely. Has not let me down once. I've used for almost a year now.

I am with a regional sound company in Phoenix, Arizona and could not be happier with this amp. We use it on a pair of Yamaha SW118 subwoofers and they pound. Enough power to make you sick to your stomach. Great amp, great value.
