The Capsule
The HF6 is the perfect example of R˜DE's state-of-the-art fusion of artistic design approaches and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, with a sound signature reminiscent of the famous microphones of old, while at the same time exhibiting extremely low noise.

Dual Lyre system
The unique dual-Lyre suspension system of the SMR was developed by R˜DE's engineers to improve the overall effectiveness of the shock mount. The smaller inner Lyre acts as a tension element, to maintain each Lyre in its neutral position where it is most efficient at cancelling vibration.

Comments about Rode Microphones NT1 Condenser Microphone Package:

The first recording I made with my new NT1 was the best rendering of my voice I have ever heard. The timbre was thick and lifelike, without frequency hype. Simultaneously, the vocal cut through the mix beautifully . The integrated pop filter is so convenient--I was thrilled not to have to fool around twisting and contorting a separate device. I was not happy with receiving no case.. Since this will be my go to mic, I will just leave it on a stand at all time I guess. Fortunately, I do all of my recording at home.

Comments about Rode Microphones NT1 Condenser Microphone Package:

The NT1 is as advertised. Rode claims that it is the world's quietest 1" condenser microphone. I haven't heard any noise introduced by the mic's circuitry. It's also very sensitive, so if you're recording vocals or voice-over as I do, be careful what you eat beforehand; stomach rumbles will be picked up. I chose this model over other microphones in its price range for its flat response as more appropriate for my use (male spoken word recording). Do your research as to whether the NT2 or another manufacturer's product would be better for what you want to record. Also, do understand that to get the most out of it, you'll want to use a high quality cable. I popped for the Mogami Gold and got rid of the hum and RF interference that my cheapo cables were picking up.

        The NT1 A Strong Performer

Comments about Rode Microphones NT1 Condenser Microphone Package:

I recently purchased the Rode NT1 mic for some home studio work. Works well on acoustic guitar but really shines on vocals. A very quiet mic that accurately picks up the nuances and quality of a vocal allowing post recording eq and effects to be minimized. I have been fortunate to sing through a U47 (1950's vintage) and I have to admit, for a moderately priced mic, the NT1 is a a really nice mic that's a great choice, especially for a home studio set-up!

The NT1- A Strong Home Studio Contender!

Comments about Rode Microphones NT1 Condenser Microphone Package:

Purchased the Rode NT1 to use for a home studio situation. So far I am very impressed. Super quiet, easy to use and captures vocals with strong clarity and the need to color the vocal with EQ and effects is minimized due to the accuracy of the mic's performance. Without spending a lot of money the NT1 is a good choice for home studio situations for sure! I've been fortunate to sing through a U47 (circa 1950's) and I can honestly say that the NT1 was very impressive for a moderately priced mic.
