I bought this for a practice amp, thinking that I could put a guitar and a mic in it. I was pleasantly surprised at the tone and power of this little unit. It really sounds good (probably better than most guitar amps because it is a two-way speaker system, and has a three band eq section). The reverb doesn't sound cheap or tinny. There are no dissonant overtones with the reverb. Also there are two pre-amped outs on the back of the unit which will drive two powered stage monitors. This unit makes a perfect practice amp, or is adequate for a small venue. This web-site doesn't give you any perspective on the size of the unit, it is about the size of a carry-on flight suitcase--small enough that you really don't need the wheels, but hey why not use them! All in all a really great vaule for the money.

Percusion City

I play percusion and found I could mic my congas, bongos, and chimes and still have a voice mic, then run the output chanel to the main board or mic the amp depending on the stage setup. As far I'm concerned you can't beat it.

One Man Band

By Zephyrrman

I purchased this amp four years ago. My drum machine blew out the tweeter speaker after two years. I've since replaced the tweeter and the amp sounds great. I've used it in small rooms, outdoors, and in small halls and it has always held up very well. The amp does hum a bit and there have been times when I've picked up radio stations. Overall, I've been very pleased with it's performance. It's a fantastic deal and very rugged.

Audio Satisfaction !!!

I just received my Rogue Roller PA and I'm very pleased with it! It was a blemished item, but I have yet to find anything wrong with it. I saved big on this great PA system and give two thumbs up to Musicians Friend and their Rogue product lines. Sincerely Happy, C. Rock !

Overall this is a much better made item than I would have thought for the very small price! Excellent value! Quality construction and a magnificent design with the wheels and the "tow bar". Definite must buy for the small jobs of all kinds! Could use RCA inputs, for more versatility, but no complaints here!

Great Little Unit!

By Anonymous

I purchased this unit last spring and use it in small rooms. I also purchased 2 AKG mics to use with it and am very pleased with this equipment and with this site. I have found the Rogue PA convenient and very easy to use. Both vocals and mic'd guitar sound great without a lot of adjustment. In no more than 1/2 hour I'm set-up, sound checked and ready to roll. It's great! (Durable also).

A life-saver.

This is a great little unit for rehearsals and small venues. 4 inputs means you can run a couple of vocal mics, electronic drums and still have another input for something else. If you own one then you know handy this little baby can be. I use it with my accoustic drums to run my Trap Cat to generate some exciting sounds.

i think rogue products could compete with mackie

when i first look at this product, i said If this product costed $1.00 i wouldn't buy it. I said this because it looked cheap. But one day i decided that i needed a smaller Pa system so i that could play at smaller venues. I call the company and the salesman recommened the new rogue product just come out. So i decided to buy the 6 channel powered mixer prm 806. And let me tell you, i don't regret it one bit. This is the best thing happen to me since i got a 40 piece set of drums. I mean the sound is so clear, it's versital and it can get so loud that you probely can use it in a stadium. Next i will buy the rogue speakers and the Rogue Roller PA.
