I have 2 pairs of these and I wish I had known I could get them here. Great price. I use these with my Shure PSM200 IEM and I put my entire band through these and my 5 string bass. Phones block the ear very well and I don't even listen to my bass amp anymore. One thing, if you are singing you really need to have a didicated tone control on your mike. I actually use a vocal splitter and a small Behringer mixer. This is because the earplugs seal your ear cavity and you tend to hear your skill voice vs real voice. Don't let this scare you away these are great. Finally there is no damage to the ear, I can hear great after each gig.
These ear buds are incredible. sound quality is amazing. For people who think ear buds can't deliver bass, try these. the bass is not muddy, but it definitely has enough of it. It also cancels out the outside noise, so you only hear your music. Dual drivers for highs and lows. great buy.
Where is the bass?I paid the money to get a great set of headphones. My Ipod headphones are better than these. They are clear but they do not have any bass at all. And the cord is the shortest cord I have ever owned. What a giant let down.I want to return them. What a waste of my time and money,
I love the Sennheiser CX300-S headphones. I am a singer and perform frequently with them in my rock band. I specifically like the separation and boost of the bass tones as I rely on them heavily when I sing. I use them with my Shure PSM 600 wireless in-ear monitor system. I would recommend them especially to anyone who is very active on stage because the cord is mounted almost flush with the earbud making it much harder to slip out of the ear when sweaty clothes start to pull at it. Unless you are very, very tall, the cord is just the right length so you don't have to bunch up the excess in a big wad.
