I bought this 2-pak a while back because I needed a couple of cheap microphones to use as spares. I had some other Sennheiser gear so I assumed these would be OK for the money. I was surprised by how well made these Microphones are. They sound great through my PA and are very sturdy. I try to take care of my gear by packing it all up neatly after a gig but sometimes there isn't enough time and these mics periodically end up someplace that they shouldn't like mixed in with the cables. But they take the beating well. I would stack these up against SM58's anytime and for Mic'ing a guitar amp, they are way better than SM57's in my opinion. So for the price, you can't go wrong in my opinion. I would definitely buy more of these if I needed more Microphones. I like the fact that I can switch them off when I'm not using them also. Saves me from having to mute from the board and then remember to unmute.

Comments about Sennheiser E822S Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone 2-Pack:
I bought these for additional backup vocal mics for a band I have just been jamming around with. I was astonished at how good they sounded for the cost. Clear sound, no feedback, very solid and an on/off switch. If I have to buy more mics later, I will buy more of these.
Comments about Sennheiser E822S Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone 2-Pack:
beautiful sound,nice deal
sleek design, elegant and excellent pickup and reproduction of sound very comparable with Shure's sm58
Excellent sound on/off feature greathas the nice heavy sturdy feel you would expect with mics much more costly, not a knockoff by any means
excellent value, two mics still cheaper than it's direct competition
Comments about Sennheiser E822S Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone 2-Pack:
These mics are fantastic for vocals, clean, clear minimum feedback. What a deal !
Solid ,well made
Great quality, German engineering
Worth twice the price
Comments about Sennheiser E822S Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone 2-Pack:
Absolutely a home run of a deal. Like I said before.... Solid. No complaints on this one.
The on - off switch is a nice feature on this E822S Dynamic microphone. I mostly sing back up and don't always need it on. When I do sing lead, it's a very clear sound.
SOLID construction. I have been using this mic for about 2 months. I have put this E822S mic through alot already and it still works and sound great. Very durable.
Unbeatable! Two solid, professional microphones that don't break the bank.
Comments about Sennheiser E822S Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone 2-Pack:
You can turn the gain all the way up on the board and this mike gives NO feedback. You would think there is no mike connected. When I compared the SM-58 in our pratice studio to the 822S in a board where all the EQ was set flat I prefered the 58 (and so did the band members). The second I increases the EQ controls this mike came alive and surpassed the 58 in tone, clearity and sheer volume with no feedback. When you try to EQ a 58 it booms and feedsback. There's a new standard in town.
Comments about Sennheiser E822S Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone 2-Pack:
...probably the best buy I have ever made. These are tough, all metal mics that have the sound any vocalist or musician would dream of. I haven't had the chance to use them in any instrument applications, but my guess is that, with the correct tweaking, they would do very well. For the price, you would have to be stupid not to buy a few right now...seriously, they're that good.I plan on keeping these for a long time...

Comments about Sennheiser E822S Dynamic Handheld Vocal Microphone 2-Pack:
This is an outstanding mike for the money and is as well-constructed as any in the Sennheiser line. This mike compares favorably to a Shure SM-58, and I find it to be much better in some capacities, including rejection of feedback, proximity effect and particularly boominess - one reason I don't care for 58s.The mike itself is built as solid as a brick in line with renowned German engineering. The two-for-one deal is pretty great except for one thing - my mikes came with no packing and no information of any kind. They apparently were just thrown into some unsealed bubblewrap and thrown into an over-sized box about 20 times too big. To my horror, they were rolling around in the box when they arrived at my door. To my relief the mikes worked just fine and were undamaged, but it did kind of freak me out.
