I play heavy hardcore music and sing clean and sing grunttal deathmetal core. Handles distortion and doesn't overload your soundboard studio too much. Has good mid flat response and power! I'm experimenting with other mics. My Marshall condenser has a real clear sound but overloads the board too much. You have to back off the mic. I like to get right on the mic. To me mics are like instruments. No right or wrong.

I have lots of experience with this and other microphones. I really love this mic because it filters out the background noise and it performs like there is a built in pop filter. I use a SM-57 to mic my amp, but you really can't find a better mic for vocals for the price.

I have a baritone voice. When I sing or talk in this mic, my voice sounds richer, warmer, smoother and I get compliments. It looks and feels nice. It is very sturdy and very feedback resistant. I've owned it for two years and I am buying another one.
