I am a working vocalist and jazz singer, and I've been using this mic for 3 years. Before it I had a SM58, and I think this is a far superior mic hands sound, nice and warm for the male voice. It cuts, it never feedsback, it is sleek, and has never failed me. I highly recommend this product.

I only recently got this mic so I can't yet express how well it holds up, etc. However, first impressions and rehearsals with it are awesome. I have been using Shure SM58's for the last few years, and occasionally a cheap Nady mic. The Sennheiser feels very solid and a little heavier. The switch is very big, comfortable to use, and sleek. The most impressive part so far is the lower range pick up. I'm a very low lead vocalist for a rock band. Some low notes have been tough to project on other mics. The first time with this mic, my band stopped with a collective "whoa!". (Folsom Prison - also tuned down 1/2 step). Nothing I know compares for a bass vocalist.

I ordered this over the phone. I was originally going to go with an SM58, which the salesman and I agreed is an excellent mic worth purchasing. However, he told me that if I liked the SM58, I would love the sound of my voice coming through this mic. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it. I was blown away by the clarity and quality of sound that came from this mic the first time I sang through it. I love this mic! It is a vocalist's dream. Trying is believing!

The first 2 E835S where stolen. Bought one of those fancy expensive cord-less,(with warranty) returned the cord-less and bought another E835S (Do not need a warranty)

Bought this & a Shure SM58 for vocals to have both available if someone had a preference. It seems to have a more natural EQ than the SM58. Nothing against the Shure it's been the standard for years but I prefer this one.

I bought this because I didn't want the SM58. It just looks like a normal mic. Sennheiser's mic looks totally different. Also it can stand lots of abuse. The material that they use to make this is definitely high quality. The clarity of the sound is really good for vocals.

I've had this guy for about a year now, and it hasn't let me down. I got this one instead of the SM 58 just to be different and because I'd heard great things about sennheiser. Virtually all handling noises are eliminated, and vocals come out smooth and clear. This thing is built to last forever!

This mic is a great mic for the stage it has a great bass roll-off. It's not as hot as the sm-58 I've used for years, but it sounds so much better with less feedback at a great price.
