Overall this is a fantastic product. I have used mine for over a year and have never had any problems or complaints whatsoever. The earpieces are very comfortable even after long periods of time and the wide range of sound makes for high highs and low lows. Having used them for listening to music, stringed instruments, studio work, and drum headphones I can easily say that I would recommend these headphones to anyone (especially for the price, less than $40?!). Are they the have all end all headphones? No. But having used and compared many headphones I can say that if your not going to spend over $150 then these are the headphones for you.

I would have rated them higher but they're not a closed invironment like the Bose. Unless you have them turned up too loud, a bit of room noise gets through because of the on-ear design. I'm not saying you could drive with these on, just not noise cancelling Take a pair home, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I received these headphones as part of a package when buying a keyboard a few years ago. Because they were giveaways, I didn't have very high expectations of them. However, they have become my daily use headphones. Their response is very even all the way through both ends of the spectrum. Very defined and clear. The stereo image is crisp and vivid. I'm not saying they're the best phones I've ever heard, but for the price, you really can't do better than these babies.
For wearability, they are comfortable through about two movies together -- which is about all one could expect from anything clamped to ones head for that long. Even on a head like mine which is more like your driveway than your lawn. Finally, the straight cord is much more to my liking than a coiled snake. When they say 10' cord, you get 10', not 4.5' coiled up and tangled like nightcrawlers. I don't toss these around the room, but they have stood up to grandkids and me without any signs of wear or deterioration. After 2 years, they still sound very good.

Comments about Sennheiser HD 202 II Headphones:

I use these at work and also when practicing on the drum kit. Isolation is good so I can hear the music as I play along. Could be just a bit louder. They are clear and have enough range for me. I wish the cable was heavier as I worry about braking it.

Comments about Sennheiser HD 202 II Headphones:

These do the job just fine. I just miss the whirlwind type cord on my old sony headphones. The whirlwind type cord gives you some leeway. With the straight cords on these, if you stand up with your foot on the cord, the headphones are ripped off of your head quite violently and that just kills the mood. I didn't know how nice the whirlwind cord was until I didn't have it. That is the only complaint. Otherwise, they sound fine.

I got these cheaper headphones for folks in my live room. I got tired of replacin hi-dollar ones when someone looses it cause they keep screwin up and throws a set accross the room. Havin a lil temper issue. These sound decent for what I want em for and when they get killed jus chunk em in the trash

These cans are ok for listening to music, but they have too much bass and are very muddy for recording. I would suggest getting the 205 model or better to do any serious recording, let alone mixing.

For it's price, great deal. Not top of the line, but totally worth it, especially if you are looking for a cheap second pair of headphones for recording singers or other musicians. There is no noticeable leaking of the sound, even when my condenser mica are hot. My right ear gets a little uncomfortable after a few hours, but since I wear glasses, I doubt I'll get past that ever. They're totally a steal.
